Got word that if you are within an hour from an office, you will be required to go into the office 3x a days. They want to get rid of 3% percent of the workforce by doing this.

I’m a flex worker at the O 20 minutes from an office. No such email received.
This tactic is being used everywhere. For once an evil idea isn’t one that originated at O.
This is something that has been communicated by some teams in OA. OP is correct.
I was recently converted to Flex/Remote status as I live 52 miles away from the office. I had to lobby for it and my managers agreed to it. As one poster in this thread said, Oracle has been pretty open about this.
OP post is wrong. Depends on the org. The org i'm in says use common sense, if you live close go to the office
Enjoy the camaraderie and the increased productivity!
Either you don’t actually work at oracle or you don’t check your emails. They have been pretty open about their back to the office policy. This is not part of it.
Guess it’s time to relocate an hour or more away
