Marketing teams working under their respective geos will be absorbed into WW E-Commerce on January 1st. Many are concerned with redundancy and eventual reduction in workforce. Not much else has been provided aside from this being a global change but layoffs seem probable by end of fiscal year.

True or not?
RIFs have been taking place since the first week of Sept. Get with it.
Have there really been constant layoffs for the past few months? I haven't heard of anybody being cut since much earlier in the year. Yes, a lot of people are mentioning layoffs and we all know more is coming, but so far, it's yet to materialize.
US Layoffs
people in my office were laid off yesterday. Anyone else?
Allied Tube and Conduit Corporation Layoffs
Allied Tube and Conduit Corporation, a manufacturer of electrical and mechanical tubing and conduit, including steel, plastic and aluminum products for use in building and in various products like traffic safety, announced layoffs beginning in January.
The move will permanently lay off 205 people, Mindy Cline, vice president of human resources for Atkore, the brand’s parent company, wrote in a letter to the Arizona Department of Economic Security.
What CEOs say about AI and what they mean about layoffs and job cuts
While a minority of the layoffs discussed during third-quarter earnings were attributed to AI, the AI-related share increased notably through 2025, growing to just above 15% in the quarter. But more broadly, he highlighted that the companies discussing AI in the context of their workforce or layoffs “indeed appear to be pulling back disproportionately on hiring.”

Is this how it will go down? Any other info?
Layoffs confirmed by a senior leader at my plant that has majority experience in the corporate offices. They said it will impact a lot of corporate positions & may also impact some field roles. They said it’ll happen end of this week early next so brace yourselves! They’re blaming it on the merge but we all know they’re out sourcing roles to Mexico etc
Came across this while scrolling through our board, checking for updates. OP: @b5+1kbdhf394

Corporates - Account Specialists
if you’re an account specialist in corporates you might be cooked 8/10. If you haven’t received your RIF notification already well you’re either safe or they’re coming for you too. I mean they’re eliminating directors, managers, and account specialists. So it doesn’t seem like anyone is spared. It seems like a lot of these people are being let go. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter - blur
Everyone in ISG Shanghai let go?
Saw an article that the full ISG team was let go

How many people are left at UOP?
Visited the offices in IL and TX and there isn’t anyone I recognize in the office anymore. Conferences don’t have any UOP name players. Far fall in the last 10 years. Leftovers.
60,000 employees in India....
Think about that for a moment. This is a bank that grew up in the midwest USA. And, now, a lot of the back office work is being moved to India. Your private information, your accounts. Why is this allowed?
Severance is designed to silence you.....
Beware! The language in the severance plan is designed to silence you and whatever you have suffered under the WF new "management" style. Its all designed to cover up what they are doing and how they are doing it. Getting rid of long-term, loyal employees and then hiring outside the USA or worse.
Current management in this case is complicit in the overall scheme. They know who is buttering their bread, and frankly, its not the folks who've made the bank successful. Nope. Its the new team, those who came like locusts from other banks.....and who are now reaping bonuses for replicating where they came from. Yes! You guessed it, WF is not getting to be "leaps ahead", no they are just catching up. To jump ahead of the banking group, you'd have to have original, out of the box thinking. And ability to tolerate risk. All of which....the current leadership lacks. And given the brain drain, well then. I think we can all agree.....there is little upside from here.
Optum CA coders
Were all the CA Optum
Coders let go in the last round of layoffs?
The manager and director in CA as well?
Outsourced labor is (ironically) safe?
Stating the obvious: layoffs are direct hires losing their job. Ironically, outsourced labor is often low quality and sometimes justified because it is “easier to fire a contract worker”. Yet I am not seeing a directed reduction in this labor pool. What gives?
What percentage of your team got laid off?
My team was pretty small to begin with … my best guesstimate is that roughly 25 to 50 percent got laid off. Gutted!
Redwood Materials layoffs
Nevada-based battery recycler Redwood Materials is laying off staff. The company is cutting approximately 5% of its workforce. This news comes just weeks after it secured a massive $350 million funding injection.

Even more UK gaming industry layoffs
As confirmed by parent company Thunderful Group, Coatsink will be losing around half of its total workforce, equating to 50-60 roles, all because of "a more challenging co-development market" and as "the business is currently unable to support all existing employees."

ABM leaving campus 11/30 not by their choice
ABM the janitorial service provider of over 200 employees and over 9 years is being transitioned out of Nike campus on a decision from CBRE, not Nike. ABM has consistently delivered exceptional experience for Nike athletes on campus, the kpi and consistent inspection scores were off the charts! The teams ABM provided service for: campus janitorial, TWC both janitorial and S&L teams, the gyms: both attendants and pm custodial teams, and durables the (cafe dish return team). Lives have been truly disrupted and thrown into chaos for nothing. Most of the ABM management have decide to leave the account due to this decision and not wanting to be associated with the new company, and the treatment from CBRE, ABM management had over 100 years of campus experience collectively. ABM is a solutions provider that delivers an exceptional experience. Get ready for service to be different , it might look great initially , however when the dust settles challenges will be realized with the experience lost. The stable work force you have come to rely and depend on will be a thing of the past.
What do you guys think the realistic numbers in FEB will be for WFR?
I'm thinking less than normal because NDA was pushed back a quarter.
HP to cut up to 6,000 jobs: CEO talks AI push
HP Inc. (HPQ) reported fiscal fourth quarter earnings results after the close on Tuesday, which topped Wall Street estimates on both the top and bottom lines. ABN Amro to cut 5,200 jobs by 2028
ABN AMRO plans to cut 5,200 full-time jobs by 2028, it said on Tuesday, as the Dutch bank seeks to deliver on its cost-cutting promises and focus on its core businesses.
The reduction, equal to more than a fifth of the lender's workforce, will affect all business areas, including recently acquired Hauck Aufhäuser
Lampe and NIBC Bank, CEO Marguerite Bérard told Reuters.
CIO RIF
If you can’t already tell. CIO is under increased scrutiny for headcount. They are looking to reduce costs/headcount by 10% across all CIO pillars for 2026 and achieve something called “reimagine work “ by 2027? I’m not sure what reimagine work is but doesn’t sound good. Especially if it’s following a goal to reduce costs.

Massive outsourcing and layoffs in contact center planned
I’m a former employee and was having drinks with my friend (a senior manager who still works there). He mentioned there’s a big project under wraps to migrate most of the US based contact center to the Philippines next year. Thousands of employees are scheduled to be cut. Figured I’d share and see if anyone else wants to confirm or deny it and share details.
Q1 cuts
So we all know Fido moves slowly but based on water cooler chats, the mind has been made up
They are just delaying the announcement until Q1 2026.
There's no Q1 planning for our team apparently this year so not sure what that means??
Use your time wisely in the upcoming holiday season
Shankar’s AMA session today once again confirmed that additional workforce reductions are expected within TPG in 2026. He also acknowledged that leadership was not able to complete all planned organizational adjustments before December, as had previously been anticipated. This round of impact appears notably smaller on the Ansys side based on empirical data collected through internal high-level communications, which now aligns with the delayed timeline because the leadership is still trying to figure out these legacy Ansys portfolios, e.g., under MBU, FBU, etc.
Given this uncertainty, it might be wise to use the upcoming holiday season to prepare for potential changes—refresh your resume, explore job opportunities, and take steps to strengthen your position for next spring. Taking proactive measures now can make a meaningful difference later.
More cuts in Jan
Hearing conversations about more reductions in January. Verizon is a monster.
They’re going to make RTO as painful as possible, aren’t they?
And push as many of us out as they can along the way. Anyone who thinks this is about anything other than maximizing profits by getting rid of people on the cheap is being naive.

c and s member& provider side
I'm curious about how the future of our jobs is shaping up. Given all the changes happening, I wonder what might be next. They've already shifted our request process to only go through workforce, and no longer allowing instant approvals for hours available like before. In an email, they mentioned upcoming changes in now going forward into 2026 regarding PTO requests, which makes me think we're in for more shifts ahead. Plus, they continue to ask for volunteers to work through our lunches and before or after our shifts. It raises questions since I thought breaks and lunches were a legal requirement. I'm left wondering if these changes are the new norm and what insights others might have about what's really going on. What can we anticipate in the coming months?

Which groups are getting quietly downsized?
No announced LR, but it seems like there are personnel that are getting cut across different groups and divisions this month. Does anyone one else notice the headcount reductions? If so, what groups, divisions, etc. are getting targeted?
