facts

the fact of the matter is these leaders are not serious people. they allow pockets of legacy people to continue to obstruct progress and not streamline the organization. as long as offices like polaris exist, this stock is heading to $30

Forbes ....Fiserv Stock Price $45

"Our multi-factor analysis indicates that the time to sell FISV stock might be approaching. We maintain a generally negative outlook on the stock, and a price of $43 could be feasible. We believe there is a near-equal balance of positives and negatives in FISV stock considering its overall Moderate operating performance and financial health. Therefore, despite its Low valuation, this contributes to the perception of the stock as Risky.".......Forbes

Stock Together program may be discontinued entirely?

I just wrapped up a 1:1 with leadership this week and it sounds like the Stock Together program may be discontinued entirely. I’m holding out hope that it’s simply being restructured or delayed for those of us recently protected, but if it's gone, it’s effectively a $20K pay cut. Does anyone have more insight or 'under the hood' knowledge on what’s happening with the program?

Stock @ 120 today - how soon do the next layoffs start?

Once again the stock has fallen off the map, it was a t a yearly low of $119 earlier today and is not moving out of 120 range - so what next for layoffs? The market is down in general but it's hurting us more than others due to our do-nothing executive weather team. How long before they do the next round???

Jana Partners - Get, Set, Gooo

Activist investor Jana Partners has reportedly purchased a stake in payments company Fiserv.

Now, Jana is campaigning for changes to boost Fiserv’s underperforming stock. Their track record in the past:

• Whole Foods Market (2017): Jana took ~9% stake, pushed for improvements; Amazon acquired it later that year (major profit for Jana).
• PetSmart (2014): Jana held ~10%, advocated sale; acquired by BC Partners for $8.7B.
• Pinnacle Foods (2018): Pushed operational changes; sold to Conagra for $8.1B.
• Frontier Communications: Called for strategic review/sale; stock rose significantly; later acquired by Verizon.

A Finking ship...

So Fink turns Fortune Brands upside down, stock tanks, and he is rewarded by going to a company with a higher valuation and higher CEO wages. He was transplanted like a Catholic Priest, lol. In the words of George Carlin, it truly is a big club and we ain't in it....be on the lookout for more rifs....

No, he is not Mr. Rogers

You seen him in that sweater with the zipper that goes down to the chest, trying to protray him as this warm figure like Mr. Rogers. What years did Mr. Rogers air? Mr. Rogers aired from 1968 until 2001. So anyone who was a child during this time is meant to accept the CEO as, a similar figure. But that is where it’s just an illusion. The same tactics used in union busting, but instead applied to all. All a lie. The stock is overvalued, and morale is low. I think lay offs have a high probability of happening.

Pwofits pwofits pwofits!

looks like those days are over.

Amon talking about instant gratification

in the AHM he talked about the stock price and talked about how QC won't ever get you instant gratification. What the f is he talking about? It's been 5 years and the stock hasn't moved. Sure, it's oscillated up and down, but if we don't have ESPP or RSUs to sell it's useless.

I am going to start emailing the board to point them to all the anonymous threads showing the employees hate this leadership.

ESPP Pricing and Post-Purchase Price Volatility — How Is It Treated?

The stock is down 6.5% over the past six months.

Under the employee stock purchase program, shares are acquired at the end of each six-month period. At that time, a charge appears.

Is that charge simply the cost of the shares purchased, or does it also include taxes on any profit?

My understanding is that the shares are purchased at the lowest price during the previous six months. If the stock price is higher at the time of purchase, the difference may be treated as employment income and taxed accordingly.

If the stock price drops shortly after purchase, does that mean you effectively paid tax on income that you never actually realized?

We are unstoppable! (Our path to sub 35)

Finally, SLF seems to have found something she's really good at: sending the stock CONSISTENTLY down at the speed of a failed SpaceX rocket. Time for some put options, because when the FT news is public, and James has to guide the investors, you can make some serious money when the stock sinks below 35! (This is NOT financial advice, though!!!). Say hi to Bob T!

Will the stock drop another 50%?

Earnings is coming out tomorrow morning.
Will Fiserv stock utterly collapse another 50%, like it did last October?
Or maybe it just utterly, utterly collapses to single digit stock price?
It has disappointed “the Street” 5 times in a row — is another massive disappointment ready to be revealed?

My guess is the stock collapses to a four handle. Maybe $48/share or something of that flavor. Give it your guess?
