I’m Making a Prediction

I predict Gail will leave the company within a few months (if not sooner), whether it’s her own decision or not. I’ve been here a long time and I’ve never seen a CEO stay as long as her. Our stock is tanking, and has been tanking for at least a year. I cannot believe she’s still the CEO. She’s the common denominator in all of our troubles.

ESPP and retirement income

Anyone else kicking themselves for not selling EOY 2024? I invested 6% since working here and lost half. Now with the lesser match w/401k, I plan on pulling the plug once (if it does) hit 400 on ESPP. I can't imagine how people close to retiring feel about this.
I wanted to retire by 55 - and lived like a pauper to invest extra money. Really sad when the CEO's cash out making bank.

Stock Options

Does anyone receive stock options as part of ACP? In previous years, I was usually granted some options to offset the lower salary, but this year I didn’t receive any at all.

I’m wondering if that signals something, especially given leadership’s strong confidence in investing in AI. Does it mean my role might not be as needed anymore very soon?

Short ORCL ???

Earnings Tuesday night. ORCL is at $152.56. Do we short ?

Bear Case:
Oil might open at $115 a barrel tomorrow morning
$300 by weeks end is now a possibility.
The us economy is not designed for $150
DJI might open 1K down premarket

We may, just may, see the The Fourth Turning (1997) by William Strauss and Neil Howe prediction of social separation of those of living above and those living below their means.

Bull Case:
Then again, it may all pass by 4/1/26. We return to normalcy.

No Clue how it turns out !
Place your bets .....

All they do is Sell.

Key executives at Five9 have recently cashed out notable amounts of company stock. SVP & CAO Leena Mansharamani sold 1,926 shares for a total of $34,417. Chief Administrative & Legal Officer Tiffany N. Meriweather executed a larger sale of 5,942 shares, netting $106,183. Meanwhile, CRO Matthew E. Tuckness sold 5,164 shares, generating proceeds of $92,280. These insider transactions highlight a series of significant stock disposals by senior leadership at Five9

My earnings prediction

From where I sit in the company. I see lots of customers leaving and almost zero new ones

With that evidence and the currency headwind with the stronger dollar and the fact we made last quarters numbers with two lucky unexpected last minute deals, I believe we will miss earnings on April 29

Stock then will drop to 15

To everyone asking about Stock Together

Just took a peek at the union contract. If ratified, it says that their Stock Together will no longer continue and they are receiving an additional $500 in corporate profit sharing in lieu of.

If that's an indication of our (management) stock together, I do wonder what our consolation prize will be, given we already received our comp sheets w sti info.

Stock price is painful to watch

I’m officially done with Q, but I’m still stuck with these RSUs. I really want to sell them and just be done with it, but the stock price keeps dropping and it’s painful to watch. I’m basically choosing between a clean break and a better payout at this point.

Nike stock value

In November of 2021, nike stock traded at nearly $170 per share. Five years later and the stock is trading consistently sideways in the low $60’s, with no end in sight. Despite leadership purchases, leadership changes, constant layoffs, reorg’s, buy backs and a retail / wholesale reset, nike is one of the worst performing stocks out there. Today it’s trading at $59 and may go lower. A nearly %280 drop in valuation. Unbelievable.

Skydoesn'twork

"Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) faces challenges with declining revenue and rising costs" (correct) "but is still positioned to benefit from the growing demand in the radio frequency industry" (really?)
The stock performance speaks for itself, two losers don't make a winner, do they?
