I just joined at a Randstad/Cella consultant just a week ago and was told yesterday that they will be cutting some of their staff. Is there any truth to this? I wasn't sure if this is normal or not but I just got here.

There have been some rumors since the big round in January about April being a target for a second round of layoffs. Anyone have more details to share on if another round will emerge and areas impacted?

I'm hearing a nasty rumor that our paychecks may not come on April 15th as a result of issues in the system migrations. They're throwing any available resources at it but much like the W2 issues this is quickly becoming a trend. This must be what winning looks like

At the same time, this is to provide any information / rumors (that has legs) about impending layoffs. Of late, I do not see any news here?

Are we entering a period of no layoffs as this is a message that is widely spread in one particular platform consisting mostly of employees from a major subsidy

I've been watching the number closely, and it had been going up, but as of Saturday 3/28, 6:40 AM - down to 165,527. Around 1600 people less than the last time I looked.

Buckle up - maybe Tuesday the 31st is really the day.

Here’s what’s going on:
If you are hybrid, you need to be showing up in office for full days (6+ hours) 3+ days a week.
This is now in Workday as a goal.

3+ days, nothing new.

Why 6+, because that’s classified as a full day. This is due to people scanning then leaving. This is also due to people who should be in a hub but when their leader sits elsewhere, the employees end up working elsewhere. Like, while taking an undisclosed vacation somewhere.

I have personally witnessed the coffee badgers in office. Show up about noon, gone about 2:30.

That’s why they are implementing the full accountability. So yes, it’s true. Can we stop with all the rumor posts now?

The articles that just came out about the rumors of Citi seeking to acquire a regional bank speculate about PNC and Truist but it will be USB. The McKinsey mafia will ensure Kedia has a role at the combined organization.

Have been hearing a consistent rumor this week and wanted to see what others have heard.

Allegedly the week of 4/12 there will be a notice sent to remote workers saying you have 30 days to decide whether you will relocate to Minneapolis. If you decide yes, you need to be back by July 1st, if you decide no, you lose your job.

Apparently this will impact merch (buyers) and planning? Potentially IM as well (which I doubt), but essentially members of the core roundtable.
