When do self evaluation need to be completed? Are they worth spending time on?
So come November we have to do 3 days a week in the office. We must work together. Either a) none of us return to office or b) we all return at the office at the same times and really overwhelm the sites. The cafeteria can’t feed us all and there are not enough desks. What do you guys think
I know some people lurk here who have left HCSC. If you put in 2 weeks notice, do they usually just let you go?
OK. what I heard is that badging in and out will tell the tale. So is the IP info that your PC is sending (via their spy apps) will also confirm in vs. out. You folks - your time online is monitored. Keystrokes, activity, location of PC, etc. All are subject to reporting IMHO. In this case, they KNOW how much time you are in the office. Its down to things like, "oh but wait, I have to pick up my kids, its snowing!" or "um, my mom just had a heart attack, I need to be by her side", or frankly "your rules su-k, I'm not conforming!". Yep, they don't care. Really. 8 hours a day, monitored, and that is 3 days per week in IT. If you can't do it, you have to file an employee check-in with Workday. yes. its true. Sound like a punch card and time clock?? That's for hourly employees, right? But But But....uh huh. You professionals? Better clock in. NOW.
Sapience is installed on you computer. They can see every keystroke and URL you visit.
14% of the company has aligned to 4 days in the office, the other 86% said FU
i noticed somehow they rigged it so you can't print out the legal document or forward the email. Nice. I would love to know how they set that up. So if one wants to have a lawyer
look at it (probably futile). its Shakey, this packet has changes from the original one. they must be making it up as they go.
sigh.
You guys being here really does help. thank you
Anyone else not able to get admin rights? Installed new windows 11 version from windows and I can’t get administrator on my new computer, IT keeps declining.
I am a rehire and not updated in the system yet. Can someone confirm?
Has the delivery of product on carts been implemented anywhere yet? How has that been working out? Also curious about the overnight deliveries and being out of stores by 5am. Has this program started and how is it working?
Have a q: have some people been let go for not being in the office frequently enough (getting enough badge swipes per week)...
I've heard that there will be a PTO change coming since we acquired Cigna. There are too many state differences which means that some states will get more PTO than others because of the differences. Also heard they may let only those affected know. Seems shady if that's the case.
Curious if people have been termed for not being in the office frequently enough/ getting 3 badge swipes per week.
ADP doesn’t seem to enforce policies like attendance, punctuality, sick time day before or after holiday so is the # of days in office enforced?
If professional employees are going to be treated like children and have every second with fingers on keyboard and/or within the walls of the designated workplace tracked and reported, and those things will be used against them (and they will, even beyond the day/hour requirements, don't think they won't), they should at least be able to see their own swipe in/out and network on/off time (both in the office and remotely). "We know something you don't know" is a terrible practice.
Something to consider -
What this company is doing raises some serious red flags under employment law. When an employer sets rules that only apply to certain groups of employees—for example, requiring people who live within 30 miles of the office to come in while allowing those further away to remain remote—that can amount to disparate treatment or disparate impact discrimination.
Under federal law (Title VII, ADA, ADEA, etc.), employers can’t impose policies that unequally burden one group of employees over another unless they can prove it’s based on a legitimate business necessity and that there’s no less discriminatory alternative. By creating two classes of employees—one penalized for their proximity to the office and another exempt based purely on where they live—the company may be exposing itself to claims of unlawful, unequal treatment.
It sounds like 8 hours no matter where you are. In effect quashing the new policy
In Canada want to allow companies like Imperial Oil to port jobs to BTC and KLTC, then Canada needs to provide social safety net that will help us maintain our lifestyle.
So, basically, I am saying Canada needs to tax companies that are porting jobs outside the country and use those dollars for a better social safety net.
If you calculate the tax rate, it will be so high that no company will be willing to port jobs overseas anymore.
Readers to this website, asking your help to spread this message. We need to pass a Canadian law that ported jobs will have to be taxed by the hour.
I was hired as a fully remote employee, which makes sense since none of my colleagues live near me. After 1 year as a remote employee my manager informed me that I may need to begin coming into the office as a hybrid employee, but for what reason? Regardless, all of my meetings will be remote, so how does it matter where I work from?
Also, the company has not given any clarification on when the hybrid mode will begin, how many days will be required, and where I will be located?
As of now, I plan to ignore this requirement, as it seems entirely superflous, a waste of my time, and a waste of gas.
Wonder if severance packages will have considerations against "total compensation". Thats what we've been told for years as why we are paid less overall. Wonder if there is some legal angle that leverages this.
If you willingly leave HCSC and have unused PTO, will they pay that PTO out with your final check?
Our whole team is rto. Will the dress code be what it was when we were in the office pre covid? Many comments on here about the lack of janitors. How bad is it in the Minnetonka location? Are the restaurants still open?
It has been said time and time again that Return to Office is not mandated. Yet leadership has mentioned that there will be people walking around auditing who is present. Has Cisco gone full on micro managing?
Does anyone know if there is a new incentive plan for bankers? Premiers, RBs, and PBs?
Is Chase still better?
Check your Amplify for this week's Grinching. Who does that? What kind of leadership takes money from people at Christmas? Godda-n.
Just learned my co worker who was hired recently for cosmetics was told by our cosmetics manager to do anything to get credit apps and to NOT use the term “credit card” with customers and to say it’s a “rewards card.” Is this promoted at other stores?
My Director mentioned that there’s a leadership meeting on October 8th same day as the October Employee Meeting. Only Directors and above are included in the leadership meeting.
This is unfair to the Lead level. Leads are Leaders without direct reports (people management responsibilities), which is a testament that Leads and Directors have the same pay band including target bonus. As such, Lead should be invited to the Leadership Meeting.
Humble request to extend the invitation to all the Leads.
Must be in office 8+ hours with no exceptions. Hammers coming down. Charley and Flowers out for blood. This company is the pits
Employee survey results woke him up
They are hard earned for the ones that received them. It’s not much for non execs but enough to care about them.
What happens to RDUs if:
Does anyone have insight? Lots of communication out there on many topics but zero on this one. It makes me feel they are going to fu-k us on RSUs based on the silence this far.
For FGS have previous shutdowns affected teams?
Are these people having a laugh or what. They wait to tell you, on 1st October, about a new policy that supposedly applies this year to use up your vacation days at Christmas... ...and... even if client commitments mean that you can't do that, you'll be expected to do the equivalent of that within 60 days. All of this is supposedly for your well-being. I'm depressed already.
This'll be on top of the 0% pay rise. Luckily, short term illnesses have been shown to last as long as the number of days they need from you...
Is there a dress code here? I see flip flops , riped jeans, shorts, t-shirts..... I do remember before covid we were to have Polo's dress shirts and nice jeans. Closed tow shoes. Even my supervisor LL6 wears T-shirts..... But hay were all here.
Gotta be a play for the Trump plan to take over the PBM industry:
Use his office to squeeze pharma companies with threat of tariffs to get prices down
PBM reform that breaks up health insurers from owning PBMs
Launch his own new private wholesale channel for dr-g distribution that hoovers up all the business
Fun to see what happens with OptumRx! Will we be smart enough to sell off before this all goes down?
Some of my team lives in North Carolina, California, Florida… what happens to us? We’re really confused as it would not be feasible to move.
Now that we know we are getting Friday, January 2nd as a holiday, this might be a sign that we will be expected to come to the office 4 or all 5 days a week in 2026.
Then again, they might be doing it to take away another WFH day. It was either between January 2nd, Christmas Eve 2026 (Thursday), or giving us two floating holidays.
If they are making us come into the office more in 2026, then I could see why they would want to give off on Friday the 2nd.
I think the CEO will use the company’s poor performance as punishment to make us come in more.
Stay tuned….
What happens if I resign during the first week of Dec (just to be eligible for 401k match), then the year end performance review happens and my manager had already decided to give me 5 rating?
Upcoming company policy will dictate that SVP and above must be tied to, and regularly go into talent center offices. I.e Jacksonville, London etc. Policy is part of the Return to Office mandate company wide. If you own high end property in JAX now is the time to sell!

Got another frustrating non-answer from the transition email (similar to my HR conversation), and my leadership has gone dark. Has anyone gotten any sign of a deadline here for getting your things back? I assume they're having the team admins facilitate, but have gotten no info whatsoever other than it's being "mailed" back. I have some things in my office that will be tough to ship...I suppose that's their problem, but I do want my things and to fully close out this bogus transaction!
