Looking for Your Next Position, Chapter, or Retirement Path....

If you are working at Fiserv and you’re not actively planning your next move, now is the time to start. The reality is that many employees will not be able to retire from this company on their own terms in the next 12 months. The organization has signaled—directly and indirectly—that long‑term employee value is no longer a priority. In some cases, instead of offering severance, roles are being shifted to temporary agencies, which raises serious questions about stability and future prospects.

You have to focus on what benefits you. The era of staying with a single employer for 25 or 30 years and retiring comfortably is over. The job market is evolving quickly, and it’s essential to reposition yourself and begin developing an exit strategy that aligns with your goals, your skills, and your financial needs.

Do not hold on to a role that is losing relevance or a company that is no longer investing in its people. Prioritize protecting your future, expanding your options, and preparing for the next chapter—whatever that may look like for you.

The forced cheer is exhausting

We're stretched thin, underpaid, and drowning in work, but they keep organizing these mandatory happy events. Last month our manager brought snacks while pretending our 60-hour weeks don't exist. Is this just us? If not, does anyone actually feel better after these things? What would real acknowledgment even look like?

FU BNY

This place is so toxic you cant stand signing on. Nobody should dread sunday nights or any night going to work. This place seriously needs to be called out to the public for what it really is. Instead of the lies put out there in linkdin and everywhere else presenting themselves as some great leader of the financial world. Sc-mbags have ruined everything and everyones moral here since robin fu-k face came along

Figuring out the actual physical toll after I left was the real shocker

I didn’t realize how sick Wells Fargo made me until I left last May. I’d gained weight, couldn’t sleep, and lived with constant anxiety. It took at least six months before my body started feeling like it belonged to me again. Sadly, the mental part takes even longer. I’m still recovering.

Part of it was dealing with a horrible bully of a manager for so long, but the overall culture played a role too. I genuinely hope more people decide to leave. It can be life changing.

LinkedIn culture is something else

The performative posts from people who still have jobs are getting exhausting. All that humble bragging and inspirational garbage while so many of us are struggling to find work. It feels like a highlight reel from people who either got lucky or won't admit how bad things really are. Hard to scroll through it without rolling my eyes these days.

Feeling low, this place is eating at me

I’ve never felt this way and I’ve been here a while but I’m feeling so defeated here. The environment is cold, uninviting almost morgue like. We no longer have our own “place”. That has been taken away. We’re expected to be okay with all the changes they have made that benefit them but not us. We’re expected to align and become these cold blooded creatures that are okay being mistreated. I can’t do that. I’m a human being, we all are. We have emotions and we want to feel appreciated. I miss the old U.S. Bank.

Something strange happened!

How many of you are able to relate to this from a now former XX

Sounding off

Officially reached my breaking point after my performance review.

Context: S&T L10, 4/5 on my performance review, and only a 0.6% raise but “the company is so excited for my growth this year!!!”

I know the situation here and have treated it as a transactional relationship. But for me to bust my a$$, deliver above my expectations, and get a fraction of a percent raise?

They’ve officially lost me, quiet quitting begins now. This company and its “leaders”
incompetence combined with Indian nepotism culture has ruined the employee experience.

I feel disrespected beyond belief, fu-k this place

Overwhelmed- tracfone heritage Miami

s it normal to feel overwhelmed at Verizon?. Or is just because we are heritage tracfone and the are doing it on purpose for us to quit?

Plus the new office will make worst commute due the traffic in Miami next to the airport.

Is it just me or the New Jersey ppl don’t feel this overwhelmed with the amount of Requests while you doing your daily job?

Work less! Get paid the same!

Fvck this company, milk it as much as you can. Do the bare minimum you’ll still get 1% merit increase and they’ll tell you that your blessed you did …

2026 Goals:
Don’t go above and beyond
Play the game
Milk the system
Act like you don’t know
Low scores on the annual survey
Use your PTO as much as you can

Man I Love Fridays

Friday tomorrow, you know what that means. I show up at 5AM with my YETI Cup filled up 3/4 Jack Daniels, 1/4 coffee. Get me my hidden back corner desk and throw on Netflix to catch up on my shows. Around 7 I’ll head over to the bathroom to take a half hour dump before people start showing up. Then I walk around and check in with some of the friendlies, say hi, get my FaceTime in, and complain about the company. Now it’s 10 and I need a refill. Back out to the truck to refill my yeti with a Jack N Coke, then have a little parking lot siesta. It is Friday after all. At 11 I clear out my inbox and send a few emails out. Next thing you know it’s 1PM and I did my 8, so the work day is over. Time to head over to the club for 9 holes and a few beers with the boys before heading to my daughter’s basketball game. Man I love Fridays.

I am very stressful and kind of depressed since the 8 hours rule is enforced

I usually go home around 2pm to avoid traffic and continue working between 2:30 to 6:30. Now I have to stay until 5pm and feel stressed out due to the heavy traffic. Since I stayed until 5pm, no more work at home.

My working hour is less than before after the 8 hours rule is enforced.

Relief over fear

I gave my two week notice Monday morning, and I just want to share this message if it helps even one person. We all have different circumstances which I understand so this won’t be for everybody.

I feel relieved. Not scared. Not panicked. No regret.

I actually felt this huge emotional release after i hit send, like when you’ve been holding something in for way too long and finally let it go. If that sounds soft- idc.

For the first time in a long time, I felt like I was taking back control of my life instead of just reacting to it.

If you’re unhappy, burned out, or feel stuck, don’t ignore that voice forever. Fear keeps a lot of us frozen, but sometimes the scariest step is also the most freeing one.

Just wanted to put that out there for anyone who needs to hear it.

There is hope

I left 2 months ago for a competitor and didn’t even get so much more in salary, but I do not regret it at all.

The culture out there is so much better in many ways. No one is breathing down your neck and expecting you to work every moment. I feel respected and heard here. I hope you guys make it out too!

Cost of lunch in cafe

Am I imagining this? Has the cost of eating the cafe gone up dramatically over the last year or so? It seems like my same lunch used to cost around 650-750 is now 10.50. I think the firm used to subsidize the cafe to keep the cost down. Wondering if they took away the subsidy as part of the cost cutting or to pay for the overly lavish Trailblazer cafe.
