I did an internship this past summer and was extended an offer in PD (engineer). I found this site researching Ford's stability. Is this site representative of your experiences? Looking for advice.

Happened yesterday, but had the night to sleep it over. Many years of hard work and I’m not optimistic about the coming months looking for a new job.

Most of the H1Bs are remote and having working multiple jobs, and pulled unqualified spouses into the company. When will this stop? Ford is renewing H1Bs while laying off Americans!!! WAKEUP!!!!!

Does anyone have any LL4+ names of recent layoffs? Mid-years are done, but it sure seems quiet, at least for LL4+.

There will be layoffs to reduce overhead so the dividend checks to the Ford family can continue.

But I feel relieved. What truly hurts is when companies don’t have a backbone to take the accountability on themselves and put the blame on you. Well, such companies are not a place to work for anyways.

I was listening to the Dave Ramsey show and one of the callers said her job was making brackets. Made me think of the infamous quote.

Just curious if JF is getting his badge swipes while camping out in the desert? I’m assuming he will get one of those nasty emails from HR as this will certainly lower his average. Rules for thee, not for me. It’s all smoke a mirrors here.
