Good ol’ Charlie received $30 mill stock gift for helping lift the asset cap and is now being promoted to Chairman. What did we get? 27 shares, woohoo 🥳

Toxic Company & Mid-Level Management

I am still reeling from my mid-year performance review on Monday. I knew it was going to go the way it did but still had some hope the company would have an ounce of compassion given that I went through and am still going through the two hardest... — read more

Apply a lower level internal job

Can people apply a lower level internal position in a different area? For example, I’m P4 and can I apply a P3 role? Will this need any approval?

Voluntary layoff

HR just informed me I can request a voluntary lay off through my manager. Has anyone else heard of this?

31 branches shuttered in two months

I was honestly surprised by how fast the closures are happening. Thirty-one branches gone in just two months is no small thing. If I worked in a branch right now, I’d be nervous. It really does seem like they’re aiming to cut it all down to the... — read more

Not enough work

Work in a LOB that will be laid off sometime before end of year. Our overseas replacements are up and running and now there's hardly enough work to go around. How does the bank benefit by holding on to a group of people who are, at this point, being... — read more

Perf Ratings - They've succeeded

Back in the day when we were ranked numerically 1-5, a meets rating of 3 was always looked at negatively and for most employees considered a bad rating. Well after years of beating us within an inch of our lives, they have made us all feel extremely... — read more

First Official Act

If I ever become CEO, my first act will be to fire everyone in marketing who was around in 2008 for not trading out the hideous red/yellow for the way classier Wachovia blue/green. Malpractice tbh. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk.
