Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How to Win

Requested severance a year ago and was denied. Started plan to quiet quit and leave in a year. Had 6.5 weeks pto that i used to drag out projects and be gone during critical times. They tried to get me to RTO. I gave them a doctor's note that had reqmts they could not meet so i stayed remote. I ended up implementing 1 CR before leaving this fall.
It was the easiest year i had ever worked while making other arrangements for myself.

Think strategically for yourself and plan ahead and remember you owe them NOTHING.

When my boss yelled at me to “just quit”. I did exactly as he wished, but in quiet mode. There is no honor among thieves. Moving on

Must be proud to lie and cheat. That’s not planning that’s fraud.

@ca you should like just the d*bag WF needs to continue working like a dope. Get out, it was the best thing I ever did, and now I shed a tear thinking about all the impossible work and deadlines I met while they treated me like s. WF deserves nothing, not respect, not loyalty, and certainly not an employee's best effort while flushing the good employees down the drain for cost savings

You sound like a real POS. Good luck finding anyone else to put up with your BS while you don't do any actual work for years on end.

I’m curious as to what the doctors note said that had requirements they could not meet? From what I understand they canceled almost everyone’s medical accommodation including mine, for BS reasons…even with a doctors note. I would love to know how it needs to be worded to get an approval to escape RTO!!

The first reply “WF lost another institutional knowledge source.” The OP asked to leave a year ago on his own but didn’t like the terms.
His actions are why we’re all getting sc--wed

Awesome! Love the planning and the foresight. Clearly - WF lost another institutional knowledge source.
While I didn't have the clarity you did, I felt I had a target on my back so saved my PTO as a "just in case" precaution. Good thing I did. Its going to be paid out now that I've been displaced.
