Job market tough enough, most people taking vacations over summer so hiring is slow and then we heading into fall and EOY holidays where traditionally no hiring due to budget cycles …. Jeeez

I slept for a total of 2 hours, all in 15-minute increments. It's sad we have to go through something like this over and over again these days. I guess when they said layoffs are the new normal, they weren't kidding.

I wish people would stop parroting the "impacted" euphemism. It's either "laid off" or "fired". Not even "RIF", because that implies that the job is gone. The job is never gone, it's just done by someone else that remains.
