Toxic RTO snitches

Be careful with what and with whom you share your personal details related to rto. There are snitches and try hards everywhere, complaining that it’s not fair people leave early, some people they never see come in, one guy left at lunch and didn’t log back in, blah blah. These same people are also submitting suggestions to HR to track ip login time, implement timesheet system, etc.

As a manager, I have had to tell these ICs to chill out, hr is not enforcing to that extent, nor are they privy to people with medical accommodations, personal circumstances, etc. These are usually the people that have been at citi for 10 years plus.

It’s like these folks have nothing better to do with their time other than to invent new ways to make other people miserable.

Voluntary leave.

Hello. Does anyone know if you leave the company you still would be entitled to your AIP in March? I am hearing different information regarding this. Also the company does pay us out for PTO and my manager is an absolute tyrant when it comes to asking for time off. Will have have to forefeit all my PTO if I decide to leave!?

Just a heads up to everyone here

Honeywell Aerospace is pushing hard to adopt direct charge billing across every business unit. I am on a team (I won’t say which one) that is going from indirect to direct, and it’s going to be a huge mess. We’ve been assured by our management that it’s only going to be a small change with how we do business, but the devil is in the details. We now have a work-to-time-off ratio we need to keep in balance and our overhead billing is expected to be very tiny.

Thank you Eliot for messing with a formula that worked just fine before.

Tracking 8 hour minimum per day in office?

Rumors that they are tracking that an employee is in office not only 3 days a week but a minimum of 8 hours in the building each of those days at CHQ? Does anyone know when that starts and how they’re tracking that? We currently don’t have the badge out system yet?

Anybody else still coffee-badging?

I have been coffee badging ever since RTO started and I have never heard anything from my manager about time spent in the office. I am the sole person on my team at my location so I never see anyone I know when I go in. So I typically take a few calls at the office in the morning then head home to finish up.

Reading all the posts here about managers cracking down about number of hours in office makes me curious if I’m the only one who hasn’t had any related time tracking guidance yet? I don’t see myself changing up my in-office routine unless I hear something from my manager directly.

Hours reporting based on only first and last timestamps

Have it on pretty good authority from a colleague whose team develops the reporting that the hours in office data pull calc will be based upon your last timestamp on WF network minus first timestamp for the day because it would be too complex to subtract people swiping out for lunch, to attend company events, take meetings in adjoining buildings etc. so don’t worry too much if you need to step out for lunch or if you want to attend a company event that is outside the building etc.

Another week, another incorrect presence report . . .

Fresh off my Care Giver time off helping my Grandmother, I came back somewhat refreshed with a positive attitude thinking AT&T might have their Sh!+ together. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It was an interesting report -- every day was low, and 2 days robbed me of more than 4 hours alone. Total understatement was around 7 hours. The only thing really worse than the presence report is our ability to secure the network.
