Is this a ploy to encourage people to quit? Where are we supposed to sit when we badge in a building but not at our center of gravity?
Been a madhouse in the building I'm in since yesterday with these cube claims.

How can this position be labeled hybrid if we’re required to be in the office five days a week? Isn’t that misleading and discriminatory? I’m really frustrated that this exists in our company.
"This position is hybrid, and you may be expected to go into Bratislava office 2+ days per week."

Last week’s snow related remote work has shown what flexibility actually delivers. Without long commutes and constant office disruption, productivity increases, work gets completed faster, and people are willing to put in more time because they have the capacity to do so. That does not happen under a rigid five day office mandate.
Five days in the office adds cost and friction without measurable gains. Real collaboration can happen in two to three days when needed, which is already the market standard. For distributed teams, forced presence changes nothing except morale.
Talent has already responded. High performers with options have left. Those who remain are disengaging. The employee survey made this clear.
As a communications company, forcing presence while selling “work from anywhere” is a strategic contradiction. Remote work for office roles is inevitable. The only question is whether we lead or fall behind.
So i told my manager I went home because there was no place to sit. The answer is to look at different days where not as many people are there. So we are supposed to go in to the office to collaborate with people but we are supposed to pick days when people aren’t there. Make it make sense.

We all did the five-day commute for years without this much fuss. Yeah, WFH is nicer, but going to an office is what we all signed up for originally. I don't get why it's such a shock to the system now. It's just a return to normal.
Most of us are required to be in office at least 8 hours a day. How exactly is time in office tracked?
What are the odds management will downsize from an office they paid top $ to fit out a few years ago? Or lease out a part to some dodgy crypto shop?
Water cooler chatter has been buzzing and seems the idea has picked up steam again????
Our team is scattered across different regions, and I'm the only full time in this location in my team, along with few contractors.
What's the latest??
Did anyone else notice this?
I'm trying to work remotely today and the WiFi says no connections available when in fact there are many available connections. For example, My cellphone is connect to the WiFi and I can see all of the WiFi connections from my phone. This happened to me last Thursday as well and when I went to the office it worked. Did the company decide to shut down WiFi and force employees to go to the office by shutting down the WiFi?
My supervisor asked in our team chat if any of us were located within 50 miles of Orlando. Does that mean we’re either going to get let go or asked to go back in office?
TCP anyone?
KRK folks - what's your opinion about yesterday's email regarding changes to WFH allowance? I'm pi---d off
Made it in the office in an Icy region I'd rather not disclose. A big thank you to the local maintenance that cleared every bit of snow & ice from our parking lot, walkways, and sidewalks. You all are awesome. Thank you on this required Business as usual day.
Many companies across our industry are moving toward greater flexibility for their employees, citing benefits around productivity, engagement, and talent retention. Chevron, however, appears to be trending in the opposite direction. I’m genuinely curious about the thinking behind this shift .. what problem is it intended to solve, and how does leadership see it supporting long-term performance, morale, and competitiveness?

Tdc isn't doing great but other like there's no way there going to layoff everyone in SD. Think the post is a scam or are they planning on sending everyone to a we work
Just found out the hard way that they cut a lot of people and made others but not all go back to the office
Have they started mailing tax forms yet?
It’s such a sh-t show! This is how we get better?!?!?!? This is how we beat the competition?!?!?!?! These a-holes torture us for a year with the layoff, surprise us with the return to office 4 days into this circus cr-p of unassigned seating!!!! This is their response to those of us who said we believe in this company to ride it out with you all and get it on track???!! The new op model is a joke and the leaders still haven’t defined roles, requiring us to work a sh-t ton of overtime where we need to concentrate. What a joke of a leadership crew we have. They ki-led this company. I’d have more respect if they are doing this on purpose, but likely they think they are making the right moves. Wtf!!!!!???!!
Make the LT surf a floor for a place to sit everyday and focus on this bs they created! Can you tell I’m pi---d
I see a job posting for the Westlake, Texas office. Is it possible to ask to go to the New Jersey, Boston or Durham office instead? Has anyone heard this being done before?
I saw a sign saying at the front of the office that the campus with Teradata now houses Cohu, Teradata and Northrop Grumman. Looking at Google maps it looks like the building with the gym now belongs to Cohu? Is that correct? Did Teradata lose another building?
Is this new SMB revenue officer our saving grace from the other horrid sales leader?
Chaos today in the support office as there are almost no seats left and still many more to come from opo. So either there’s going to be layoffs or someone needs to learn to do math.
If you’re going to force everyone into the office five days a week, can you at least turn the heat on? People are sitting at their desks in coats, winter hats, and gloves. That’s not exaggeration either.
You made the RTO decision, not employees. If the company doesn’t want to pay to make the buildings habitable, then revert the policy. Forcing people to commute just to freeze inside an office is beyond ridiculous and completely self-inflicted.
Nothing like this is announced. You are expected to go to Deerfield on Monday.
The commute will be a pain, but being in the office will create a hard stop to my workday. In a way, it might even get me to have a healthier work-life balance than I do now remotely.
Does anyone know how many days per month those who are below Director level are meant to be in office? I’ve heard 4 and I’ve heard 3 days per month. Also any insight on hour requirements per visit? Thank you.
I don’t think Truist has enough office space to fit everyone. I traveled at a few of their office locations(ATL, CLT, Raleigh/Greensboro). It doesn’t look like there is enough room. Especially in the Charlotte office and the new Battery location.
There was no communication to local employees regarding this snowstorm. The only email notification we got was an email that I saw this morning when I logged in. Why would they send an email to our work address when we’re not logged on during the weekend…. makes no sense.
Just curious if any impacted teammates have received SIREN notifications about the status of their offices/branches tomorrow.
Hi! Driving by last weekend and saw that the Allscripts sign isn't on the Raleigh office. Didn't see an Altera (or whatever it's called now) sign either. Is there a Raleigh office? I left voluntarily a few years ago and was wondering if the place is still open. Thanks!
I better see MW and MN in the office tomorrow regardless of the weather because we’re all BETTER TOGETHER!!
With this historic storm in Pittsburgh - I wonder if he and his minions are going to be in office tomorrow?? He said he hasn’t missed a day and the parking garages will be empty :((
We shouldn’t risk one day of no collaboration! Work from home is bad!!!!!
How's it going there in AT&T now that it's only left with "the bottom quartile". “If you’re trying to say to people, ‘Oh, you got to work in an office,’ you’ll just get the bottom quartile of people who have no choice.”
Any information if this office is for sure closing?
