All orgs will be affected?
Can't stand this place or my job. I hope to make the list.
Offshoring us into extinction
Truly sorry to everyone who's already been hit.
7% more cuts after all the people we've already lost?
This won't end well. You can only squeeze so much blood from layoffs before the whole thing collapses.
endless layoffs have eliminated collaboration
Dont let anyone help you or steal your work; you might be next. Hide, squirrel those files away! Yes mangers are doing this too.
Rumor started by Oracle?
I know I’m going down the conspiracy rabbit hole here, but just for conversation what if Oracle started the rumors of the layoffs? Oracle knows they must get employees motivated again, and it’s against their nature to do so with rewards, but creating fear is right up their alley. The thought being that employees will put up with a lot more if they’re afraid they’re getting laid off. Suddenly, their performance may matter so they work harder. It seems a little far-fetched, but an interesting theory of ponder.
#opentowork posts everywhere
You can't open LinkedIn without being hit with so, so many of those. The thought of entering the job market in current conditions is terrifying, to say the least.
Cultural downhill effects
I think what’s worse than the tangible changes being made is the culture and environment it’s creating. They lack actual leadership competency to know that with any change comes a far and wide ripple effect you have to LEAD through! In the absence of that you create irreparable chaos that flows all the way downstream. Your next level leaders fear their jobs so they start throwing down hammers, those leaders isolate in fear cause they don’t know how to cascade those messages. Employees then feel the weight of all of it knowing something is going on and watching their colleagues disappear like it’s a reaping. The stress causes people to act in ways they normal wouldn’t and it’s not good! Unethical behavior takes shape, employees suddenly view their colleagues as threats - he-l even leaders do. You create a culture of every man out for himself trying to essentially save their life while dying on the inside.
Whatever your intended outcome is, congratulations MC, you effectively destroyed your workforce in the end.
Move on with out fear
I just quit Walgreens after 25 years because we all know what is going to happen to this company , but I just want to tell you all do not fear is ok to reinvent your self. now I have a small business of my own and I fine I have more time with my family, thing always work out don't be afraid to stand on a thin branch just trust your wings
Grim reaper incoming. More layoffs.
Run. Hide. Fight. Kiss your a@@ goodbye.
Where are we in this mess?
Does anyone know how many people have been cut total? How many more to go before this "restructuring" is done? Are we done or not? I just want a date when I can stop being terrified every morning.
Is it March 10th?
The ever moving second Tuesday of the month timeline to get rid of associates?
Back in 2024, we survived the axe which happened on second Tuesday of March.
Water cooler chat is also buzzing with Friday the 13th March horror.
As always brokerage and wealth seem to be the ones impacted most.
Layoffs
Every time there is a calendar invite from leadership, it feels ominous. Are we looking at another round of layoffs soon?
I don't think about retirement anymore
I can't afford to take it for granted. These days, I'm happy to still a job the next day. Tell me that's not fu---d up.
Got the dreaded AI appraisal. Looks like my direct is on the chopping board.
Can’t wait for the first level apocalypse that’s surely coming this year.
How citi got a banner year
Citi did extraordinary well in 2025 and made it's position top among global banks and J got a 42 million etc but how did it happen? They are cutting left and right, people are overworking, or not working (like me,got fed up with lowest rating). So it's the FEAR which is working, is it?
Town Hall
What is tomorrow's townhall going to be all about? It's terrible fearing ELT meetings because I used to look forward to them. Fear is probably the new norm after what we all went through last year.
I'm so nervous ahead of the 19th
I don't know why, but this time I'm more anxious than usual. I guess this constant fear of losing my job is finally getting to me in new and awful ways.
Good luck all the American engineers in Technology

AI Retirement
What is everyone going to do in 18 months once AI retires us? Golf?
What's next?
Does anybody have an inkling what we might be looking at? I'm afraid to even think of the possibilities.
Fear ki-ls focus
Every day I wonder if today's the day. And they expect me to just perform like normal? That's not possible. The stress is all I can think about.
I'm scared of having to interview again
I've been here for 24 years. How do I even start looking for a new job if I'm laid off? I haven't interviewed in more than two decades. I'm scared to even think how much things have changed. I wouldn't know where to start.
A culture of fear
The way some of these managers treat people is disgusting. They tear you down like it's sport. The atmosphere is thick with anxiety. FIS has no future if this is who's running the show.
My Fear is losing my job over THEIR system issues
It's every day it is something! They are fully aware it needs to be fixed. It effects our Metrics when we lose calls or can't run a wizard due to the pink banner we all get!
Should we worry about cuts?
With another reduction in fees within a year to the tune of $250 million, should we worry that some of those cuts will be compensated for with layoffs? I've been here a year and I absolutely love my job, so losing it so soon would be heartbreaking, to say the least.
We're treated like frightened animals
Intel management uses the constant threat of layoffs to keep control and again and again demand more output. It forces people into silos, looking out only for their own survival. They assume we'll obey out of fear of losing our jobs, and, sadly, too often they're right about that.
It’s so difficult to deal with this much uncertainty
We're not living in some golden age where jobs are easy to find. I'm freaking out, and by the looks of it, the vast majority of people around me are too.
If the stock performance is any indicator, get ready for more cuts
It dipped again, with some post-close recovery. The positive earnings momentum lasted a grand total of one day.
Could we get a choice?
Do you think there's a slim possibility of voluntary layoffs? It would be so much better than the fear of forced cuts. People who are ready to go could leave with dignity, and it might reduce the number of involuntary terminations.
who heard how new reviews will be used for layoffs?
sounding like new system going to be used sc--w people over
Leadership is driving us off a cliff
The people running Exxon have no clue what they're doing. They're making terrible calls that are going to sink the company and take all our jobs with it. Does anyone have faith they can actually steer us to safety?
The end of the anxiety
If I get cut, at least the dreadful waiting game is over. I can stop jumping at every email and start dealing with the actual problem instead of the fear of it.
I'm paralyzed by indecision
I know I should leave. Everything points to it. I have an open invitation at a friend's startup. But I'm stuck, unable to take the first step. I hate that I'm choosing to be miserable because I'm too scared to make a change. Dell is the only thing I've known for so long. I know many who feel the same way. It's almost like some weird type of Stockholm Syndrome at this point.
All CMs and DMMs were just let go in a meeting at Corporate! It’s a bloodbath!
Run, hide, we are all doomed!
