I keep seeing post about October layoffs but no one is saying what department is in jeopardy? Do we not know? I’m just wondering if this time if it will be claims, benefits, Behavior Health, Evicore??? I know IT has already been hit pretty hard this year but wondering who’s department is next

For mass layoffs in departments, for this round do they have the manager come talk to you one by one or will everyone get an email and meeting invite since it will be so many meetings?

Curious if anyone here has been through a round of layoffs and can share how it actually played out. When companies say it's "cost cutting" or "moving jobs offshore" — is it usually the entire team/department that goes, or do they pick people out individually?

Also wondering if performance ratings really matter here, or if it's more about tenure, pay level, and role redundancy. Trying to get a realistic picture rather than just guessing.

Is that true?

I was moved under a new director earlier this year and she acts like a narcissistic bulldog that has had too much coffee. Constantly yelling on calls and on the floor, making people feel stupid, and challenging all sorts of work things that don't impact her group, and just an bad vibe all around. always loud and angry.

I'm looking for jobs elsewhere but its not easy, and I doubt HR would do anything if I Iogged a complaint (other than get me laid off next, trying to avoid that as much as I hate working here).

Hoping that Saint Louis no longer being a hub gets me reporting up to someone else soon but nothing has happened since the announcement last year. Anyone hear anything recently on the folding up of ops in saint louis??

I’ve heard a handful of people in the different offices were already let go, and the NZ office is gone now. Is this a trickle effect? Wondering how far we have to wait for the other shoe to drop.

Another layoff day today to start off the month but so far it's been quiet. Anyone hearing a big wave coming later in September/October? I've heard whispers that certain groups will be impacted in Q4. Let's wait and see.

So, as of this morning, there was a huge shakeup in Canton. Many people who supported the field and leadership are now gone. It seems like the clowns are now fully in charge of the circus. Not going to drop the names, but take a look around... and this is just weeks after another round was done. This is only the beginning; it's going to get worse.

Hearing its the end of the road for a number of staff in a number of locations, looks like hubs are the focus now.

For your sanity, just assume every department will see cuts. You can either wait and see or take control and start looking now. I know that sounds harsh, but it's the reality.
