Who is in jeopardy?

Heard that a Big Tech style mass layoff removing Agile Roles (Scrum Masters, Coaches etc..) coming soon in anticipation of moving towards self-managing T Shaped roles. Anybody else heard?

Does anyone know what, if any, lenders are hiring for multifamily underwriter positions? Is the market totally swamped with agency folks trying to land somewhere or is there still hope?

Seems like Palantir is being integrated to automate workflows and potentially terminate in-house development teams like fraud detection etc. Anybody have more insight?

Because that's a great long-term strategy, right?

I am trying to sort things out as a dev I am wondering if I should pack up my bags now or just ride it out everyday is really tense.

Here in Plano, TX, I only know of one person fired. While we all think the RTO su-ks, it's still a good job that pays well and has great benefits so most of us are just mourning losing WFH but adapting.
