Just heard LIC office got sold and we’ll need to relocate.
I’m guessing 388 is the main option? but is 388 even big enough to absorb all LIC teams? Are there other low-key NYC/LI locations, or is NJ going to be the only other option? Or should we expect layoff in the upcoming round?
The Charlotte office is opening in 2027. Does anyone know what groups are relocating to that office?

I used to be at LIC. I thought Citi sold that building years ago, we are just leasing a few floors still. Citi’s name was removed from the building a while back.
388 is crowded enough!
My manager told me that some groups are going to Jersey City and that we will have massive layoffs soon. Thus, 388 will no longer be crowded.
A NYC dept, Dept. of Health or some other NYC agency is now leasing floors 14, 15.
LIC building may have been sold, but it doesn't mean employees will be told or forced to relocate to 388 Greenwich Street.
There's simply Not enough space for everyone in 388 !
Citi gave up LIC floors 14, 15 and consolidated teams/depts/groups into floors 8 to 11, and provided new computers, equipment etc. for those floors.
Floor 12 does cashiering functions like print checks, deposit checks etc. so only certain employees are permitted on that floor for security reasons since paper checks & other documentation are floating around.
