Word around Buffalo is we’re about to have massive layoffs. My neighbor even asked me about it. Anyone know when they will hit?

There will be a huge round of layoffs happening in Optum with notification date of Jan 22. Every business is at risk, as Corporate handed down mandates of between 10%-30% reductions depending on the business. More happening in Feb & Mar as well. Oh and RRP Funding STILL hasn’t been approved.

Any clue at all? I know none of us are safe, and rolling layoffs will probably be the new normal, but it would be great to know when this particular nightmare ends, just so we can breathe for a moment.

Global sales leader has given mid level management orders to clean house before the new year. As much as 70% of the sales force could be in danger. Hug your loved ones and brace yourself!

This is my warning to everybody. Through insider information, there will be layoffs in February. Possibly hardest hit will be collab. Managers will be made aware right around Christmas time, everybody else notified weeks after the new year.

The next round is coming, not as massive, 1k and above, focus on Ireland and India and the back to the states.

Anyone else hearing from leadership that another 5K round is planned in March post the reorganization across new leaders. Supposedly, this new transformation leadership is being asked to find efficiencies through downsizing targets.

Been hearing a lot of chatter of another wave of layoffs coming within the next few months. Figure the 5 days back in office is them hope people will voluntarily leave. Been hearing a lot of scrutiny towards remote workers that are outside the rto office mileage.

Hard to focus on the job on hand, and not looking for employment elsewhere. So much red tape you kinda feel like you are handcuffed and just waiting for the hammer.

Welp, looks like ECRL is the next dept going to be laid-off according to his Town Hall. All I heard was 2026. Anyone have a more specific timeframe when this will happen?
