Definitely not a win OP, agree with your statement.
It is clear indicator of the lack of job security at this company.
If anything it would be a sign to start looking outside of this company and begin to interview while on the clock if need be.
This was the first of many this year. No one is safe unless you are a VP or related to one.
This round was a mix of higher payrates, lower performers, anyone vocal or that questioned anything, and personal vendettas.
Crown EMT is a oneteick pony with layoffs trying to save the stock price. Is there $5.3 billion in salary to bail them out for the Dish fiasco?
Layoffs should not be a bussiness strategy but that's all these CEOs know. They discard employees like trash all while making multi millions to balance the books. No wonder people half a$$ their job, have no loyalty, nickel & dime etc.. We need a new labor movement in this country where real work is valued more than some smooth talking exutives
There will be more layoffs this year for sure. This round was just a quick fix to buy them more time on how to outsource your department.
Always free to seek gainful employment elsewhere. 🤷🏿♂️
I feel the same. It’s hard to feel safe or comfortable.. I enjoy my job and the people I work with. I’m left wondering what’s coming next
