MarketWatch reported on Friday that the MacroStrategy Partnership, an independent research firm, has published a new note claiming that the bubble generated by AI is now 17 times larger than the dot-com bubble in the late 1990s, and four times bigger than the global real-estate bubble that crashed the economy in 2008.
Perkins told Axios that he’s particularly wary because the big tech companies are claiming “they don’t care whether the investment has any return, because they’re in a race.”

If you’re not in the inner circle, your ideas get crushed before they even leave your mouth. They protect each other at all costs and make it impossible for anything new or useful to actually get done. I'm about ready to walk away because this has become unbearable.

In debit and not profittable
Not sure how these folks plan to survive. Most of their field personnel are financing the company because they don't pay their expenses on time. The hard part of working here is when they tell to find another vendor because they haven't paid the other 3 yet and the vendors won't do work for us any longer. I've never seen a business function the way this one does, and I don't think it will keep this pace long!

I'm just as worried about what happens after
Yes, I'm worried about layoffs, but if I'm still here when it's done, I know we'll be facing major changes in how things are done, and I seriously doubt any of them will benefit the employees. I think our work is about to become much harder and increase dramatically with no reward whatsoever and probably a "be happy to have a job" tagline.
