12/4 Layoffs
What areas are expected to be impacted this week?
No one at leadership seems to understand what is happening on the ground
Every task is marked urgent, but planning is almost nonexistent, and the list of measurables keeps growing. Cuts leave teams stretched beyond capacity. The constant message is just to be grateful you still have a job. Keeping operations moving under... — read more

Are we done with layoffs ?
Are we done finally? Can I wake up happily assuming my job is safe? It’s been a while we saw a big one and I am getting a sense it’s right around the corner. Anyone have more information?
How do you deal with knowing your job could disappear any day?
That's our reality now, and I admit, I'm not handling it all that well.

Your thoughts on IT
IT is a mess. Never seen it this bad. Its even worse than when Eder was here. What are you seeing in your team? We can't get any decisions made. Nothing is getting done. The only thing we see are jobs heading offshore. Getting out as soon as I can.
The Obamacare insurers outperformed Bernie Madoff!
CIGNA stock price in 2010 was around $32 per share. It skyrocketed to near $300 as of November 2025. Amazing what guaranteed taxpayer support can do for your stock price. What happens when ACA goes away? Free market capitalism!
Any layoffs known for November?
Got a meeting invite at 3pm on a Friday at the end of November. Should I be worried??
Should I not leave my current job if I’m offered a position with Cigna?
Since I’m seeing people worried about layoffs, should I decline if a position is offered to me? I had an interview that went well but I don’t want to end up getting sc--wed over by leaving my current company if I am offered a job with Cigna and end... — read more

Cigna Stock Price
Why did the market react negatively to today's earnings call?
Rebate Restructuring?
Sounds like a lot of people are up in arms about Cigna switching to a "rebate-free" model. Don't those drive a ton of revenue? I'm assuming Cigna is not going to just give up that revenue stream. Anyone know what's actually going on?
Anything next week?
Any rumors about next week? Nov 6th is on the layoff calendar!

it was rumored to be happening, so did it?
IT who were laid off , how’s your job hunting
It’s honestly disheartening. You’ll see job postings with over 1,700 applicants, sometimes just two days after going live. So many ghost jobs. So many ghosting recruiters. And when you do get an interview, the bias and racial discrimination bingo... — read more
How much more offshoring ?
It’s already a big number in HIH. But how long will they continue to hire there? Or is it a moving target and they don’t know until we find a way to be profitable in other ways.
