I work at U.S. Bank for 33 years and was forced to retire. Credit card fraud area is a sham they have new management and the new management has taken the department into the ground. They have lost good employees that have either left the bank or retired. All they worry about now is production. They don’t worry about the quality of work since they opened an office in India in Poland. After 33 years of dedicated service to this bank, all I got was a small face of flowers not even a retirement card congratulations or anything. It’s very sad when you’re a dedicated employee and you leave and this is how you’re treated.

they are useless. they WFH and put their status' as "busy" while they are at the hair salon and grabbing iced coffees, posting about it on social media. or they are in another country cause it's so convenient to travel around in europe with teams installed on your phone.
no wonder all managers hate analysts and interns. they inflate our HC and do nothing impactful.
Why still work for this company. It has no respect what you have done!
no matter it was 1 year, 10 years, 20 years, or lifelong.
leave now.
I feel like a piece of equipment
Used until I’m worn down, then easily discarded. I no longer feel like a human being or a professional with over 30 years of specialized experience. It’s as if none of it ever mattered. As someone who once took real pride in my work, it’s been disheartening to watch what companies like ours have gradually become. The shift has been subtle but steady - eroding purpose, value, and basic respect for employees. The way people are treated now feels like near-complete disregard. At this stage, it’s probably too late for me to change careers, or even companies, because of my age. But I hope younger colleagues start to look at their careers with a different lens. Unless something gives, the culture will only continue to decline.
Most Employees have been Demoralized By Leadership
Leadership at all levels are responsible for making employees feel like cr-p.
If you were honest with yourself you would look around and see most of the people around you have been treated like shi_.
There is no way to win employees back unless the new leadership proves they value the employees.
Sorry to you all
I don’t work there, but I’ve watched what this place has done to my sister. She’s given them everything—early mornings, late nights, weekends, endless events. And she’s not the only one. So many of you have sacrificed your time, your health, even your families, because you believed in being loyal and dedicated.
But what does this company give back? Not gratitude, not respect, not recognition. Instead, after draining people dry, they toss you out like you were nothing. It’s not a “thank you” for years of service—it’s a cold shove out the door.
We used to joke it was like a cult. Turns out we were right. A cult takes your energy, your devotion, your soul—and when you’re no longer useful, it discards you. That’s exactly what’s happening here.
To everyone getting laid off: you deserved better than this. And no matter what they try to make you believe, the failure is theirs—not yours.
Basic human decency isn't that hard
I find it shocking that after months of uncertainty and fear, leadership can't be bothered to (1) guarantee a phone call to discuss your fate or (2) loop in lower level managers to have that conversation.
Good Luck to You All
After my manager finished reading the HR script, he said to me, “Good luck", and I replied, “Good luck to you too". I truly meant it. I know many of you, like me, have wanted to leave this toxic place but haven’t, for various reasons. I sincerely wish the very best for all of you who are still at Cisco.
In the halls of home office
You can spot an L3/L4 leader from 100 yards away. They stick out like a Weird Al ringtone at a funeral. No stress on their face, they’re weightless despite the gravity of their decisions. Be better. It doesn’t take much.
LinkedIn 5 year brag post is the Indian Quinceañera?
It’s the new right of passage for our Indian friends: the ubiquitous post on LinkedIn “Just can’t believe that it’s already been five years!”. This is how we signal that we are now ready and willing to jump into the job market to cash in on ExxonMobil’s training investment. Well done Exxon.
Disappointed in the way it was done
I read posts on LinkedIn from people who were with the company for 12, 18 and even 25 years who were laid off in this Aug 2025 RIF. Imagine working for a company for 25 years and then being cast aside like nothing with a sh---y pre-recorded 5 min call. The small severance amount is also insulting. I’m shocked by how all these loyal employees were treated.
From CARGILL Careers Page - What a JOKE
"At Cargill, everyone matters and everyone counts. Cargill is committed to creating and sustaining an inclusive and diverse work environment where all employees are treated with dignity and respect"
There was NO dignity and certainly ZERO respect when I was laid off. I was ghosted by my manager and treated by the company, colleagues like I'd been fired for cause.
@fmj+1w0MjRYd brilliant!
So basically CBRE, electricians, and all other trademen who have been drilling and making racket in the office over the last year know what's going on!
Anyone seen that CT chap since he visited the CT teams a couple of months ago?
Ericsson self identifies as a "Whale", even though it is a guppy.
But we must accept and "respect" this.
After all, if a man can self declare himself to be a woman, why can't a guppy be a whale??

@arac+17mSfp1N you a old timer at Juniper #respect
2 is a blast! "Can I use my holidays until I'm gone?" No. Alfredo here is going to escort you out of the building in front of all your colleagues once you hand us your company phone and card key. We will ship you your personal office items once your annoying and indecisive secretary bugs the sh--t out of a VP or Director enough to get approval to ship you back your favorite pen, personal calculator and family photo to you in a bankers box. #smoke_up_your_ass #integrity #respect
This is exactly how I feel as well. When you think about it, we are all adults and can handle any news you throw at us - just be open and transparent, that's all we ask from the management - I know I am just a number, but still, PLEASE treat me with some #respect! This is a #gold post...
Tired of not knowing
I'm truly tired of not knowing what's going to happen. I wish they'd just come out and tell us what's going on, even if that means I find out my position is being cut.
This waiting and anticipating has become worse than anything that might come out of finally knowing. Just stop with all the secrecy and partial info and tell us!
This is destroying both morale and health of the employees. Not that they care,of course...
And we have the Reverend (polite - not derogatory at all) Rajeev (name, again not derogatory!) going "Blah Blah"? Ya real grown up! #Respect #GSS #Rocks #LongLiveVMware (heartfelt cheers)
Rajeev is a leech, other than all te above he has always been troubling the girls on the floor. This is not baseless and the management also is aware of this.
The other guy is just a liar and keeps telling the same story to all the guys who ever confronts or has a new idea.
Lloyd: #respect, he is one of the managers who knows how to speak to his team when it means business and otherwise.
I would love to continue work with him.
There is a lot to write but A$$ licking has always been a way for getting recognised and promoted in VMware.
Hire managers who are your friends and hire more managers because they have been referred by other SR mgrs. Doesn't matter if the mgrs r dumb and them keep them for a couple of years n ask them to leave.
I love the company and my colleagues not the management.
