Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Tired of not knowing

I'm truly tired of not knowing what's going to happen. I wish they'd just come out and tell us what's going on, even if that means I find out my position is being cut.

This waiting and anticipating has become worse than anything that might come out of finally knowing. Just stop with all the secrecy and partial info and tell us!

This is destroying both morale and health of the CVS employees. Not that they care,of course...

My rx sup was let go last week. Not sure if they were given the option to stay as an rph or given severance, but it is upsetting. No one is safe, and brick and mortar retail is going to the way side. CVS will continue to focus on ways to make things digital and mail order/home delivery. If you're in a store, get out. It's only a matter of time before they have you even more bare bones then you already are just to stay compliant to keep the doors open. They'll start cutting tech hours has scripts move to mail orders etc. Front store retail, with the addition of Aetna, is such a small percent of CVSHealth now that they aren't going to put any money into it. If you aren't preparing to get out now, you're foolish. :::dusting off resume:::

This is exactly how I feel as well. When you think about it, we are all adults and can handle any news you throw at us - just be open and transparent, that's all we ask from the management - I know I am just a number, but still, PLEASE treat me with some #respect! This is a #gold post...

The ones over 40 that were let go...i hope they keep copies of their scorecards...especially if they were near the top on district!

5 managers in my district alone have been put on notice. The next district east of us, 3 managers. As this happens, please post updates. We have a closely knit district with stores within 5 minutes of each other, not sure if this is going on anywhere else.

We will see how bonuses get paid in March (if we are still around)

Sounds like grounds for a potential class action suit!

Also heard that supposedly no more raises unless an "exceeds expectations" is earned for all metrics. So basically zero people will get raises again.

Would be better for you to go somewhere else - don't stick around just to make yourself sick

Same thing at Aetna nothing but betrayal and employees on anxiety meds. No ethics or values anymore.
