Is there a safe space from the AI slop at Ford?
Every day it's the same slop. "We have to use AI in everything we do". Write code? Get AI to do it! Review the code? AI! Write an email or post a message in Teams? Better use AI for it (the ems and the emoji use always give it away; "it's not just x - it's y")! Every post, every message, AI slop images, AI slop text, literally inescapable. I feel like the cult mentality around it is just eating away at people's brains, it's a twilight zone episode. I get we have to copy what every software company does, but isn't there someone near the top seeing the massive bubble about to burst, the cost of token consumption, and the general brain drain that comes from offloading every single task to an agent or a chat bot?
Checking In
Checking in to see where everyone is at on the mood elevator? Remember those days?
So, what do those Texans think of your OU and OSU degrees?
Keep spending money (It’s someone else’s laws).
Reorg
Is there any ongoing reorg in upstream?
Only 55% implemented?
Anyone know what that seems to imply? Europe cannot account for 45%??

SETH
Are we submitting questions or assuming that even with the format pivot we aren’t going to get real, honest answers to questions.
Personally, I hope people submit their toughest questions and demand accountability from MKW. It’s been a sh*t couple of years and that’s largely on him and the rest of leadership.
Bets on July 31?
Hearing some rumors
CXO org
Just my opinion, but after the last organizational shake-up, I wouldn’t be surprised if history repeats itself.
One question I keep coming back to: A.C. championed the “ways of working” in the previous CXO organization. Has anyone objectively looked at whether those same approaches may have contributed to some of the challenges the organization faced?
Hopefully the new organization has a different outcome—but time will tell. 🍿
Brian is out
This will be interesting.. anyone else see the email? Wondering if this new person will be any better
AI Wins
Are you seeing any AI wins around you? It has been three and a half years since AI started appearing in every presentation deck at CDW. So, what have we actually accomplished? Where did all the energy, effort, focus, and money go? Oh, well.
Where are posts about Virtuals getting notices?
It has been a couple of weeks now. Where are the posts about Virtuals getting relocation letters? Have the few people who kept perpetuating these fabricated rumors every few days gone?

Townhall meeting today - what do you think
Joel didn't say anything meaniful, I had looked forward so much to that townhall like it was the Oscar's, it was just a waste if 1hr, couldn't answer any question straightforward or plainly
EviCore buyer
Guess who would be the buyer of EviCore. Maybe UHC, or CVS?
How many people who relocated still work at Dallas?
Comment here if you relocated and still have employment
True Layoffs?
I see exhaustive number of complaints however I do not see anything factual where somebody was truly laid off as a result of RTO or anything else because it’s all vague and not specific. I think the intent of the site has lost its path. Instead of making a comment as my teammate was laid off maybe because they weren’t performing but be more specific as I have yet to see somebody be laid off in two years

VZ vs Competition
How would you compare us to the rest of competition?
I am interested in opinions of folks that worked for other companies.
Also, I'd love to see what people think about our position a few years from now
What's going on with MBP?
Curious to know what's going on with MBP (Modern Banking Platform)? It seems like it got hit with layoffs recently. I've heard rumors about it struggling lately to gain traction as a proven core solution.

I do not know why, but something about every post here on this site brought me to this old fav video. Yeah, I am GenX, interpret as you want, its art, but relevent lol
Capone Stack Ranking History
Capital One is a major U.S. bank and credit card issuer known for its robust rewards ecosystem and strong market position. However, the mention of "rankings" and "PIPs" refers to internal corporate terminology rather than credit cards: [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Stack Ranking: Capital One uses a forced distribution performance management system to rate employees against one another rather than against fixed goals. [6, 7]
- The "PIP": A PIP refers to a Performance Improvement Plan. Employees often receive this if they fall into the bottom percentages of their stack-ranked cohort. [8, 9]
The specific details of this system include:
## Stack Ranking
Capital One assigns employees performance ratings such as "Exceptional," "Above Strong," "Strong," and "Below Strong". Many former employees note that the company utilizes a forced distribution system where a set percentage of the workforce (roughly 10% - 15%) must be placed in the bottom tier every 6 months. This means that even if a team is full of high achievers, someone inevitably ends up at the bottom of the stack. [10, 11, 12, 13]
## PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans)
Employees who fall into the "Below Strong" category twice in a row, or sometimes automatically depending on management decisions, are placed on a PIP. A PIP is a formal process intended to correct performance, but many former employees state that it is often treated as a precursor to termination or "soft layoffs". [10, 11]
## The Employee Consensus
Feedback on platforms like Glassdoor and Reddit shows mixed opinions. Some workers appreciate the clear metrics and find the compensation competitive, but there is a significant consensus regarding the toxic nature of the forced ranking. Many employees argue that the system creates an unnecessarily competitive and stressful environment, disincentivizing teamwork because an individual's high performance could negatively impact a peer's ranking.
