The stock price is about where it was when Chris became CEO in 2019.
Way to go, Chris! How's that "strategy" panning out???
Have some dignity and resign. Or just ask the board to fire you, which is beyond me why they haven't.

Hopefully the board will be dissatisfied or an activist investor will kick HT to the street where he belongs.
Lay him off!
Thoughts? Let’s hear some good takes with solid reasoning
I don't understand the hold Rajat has on Ryan and the board, it's like the old fable The Emperor's New Clothes, our senior IT Joe parading around that AI is going to save the world, that the OpenVisaNet project is going to finally replace the mainframe... how long will it take before somebody realises Rajat is na--d? OpenVisaNet has been running for years, how much has that cost? In the meantime everybody is judged on how many PRs they submit, lines of code generated and tokens they use, regardless of them being an engineer or not. I used to love working here, but the well has been poisoned, until it affects shareholders directly they'll keep parading Rajat and his AI dream as the nirvana. Roll on retirement, if they don't get me first that is (being of a certain age my days are numbered).
I am surprised the board is silent with all things that are happening. I guess there is more chatter on Paramount Global's page - Good luck all.
I read a lot of different company discussions boards but I think Phillips 66 is the most active I've come across. There must be some serious deep rooted problems within the company. These boards can have a few resentful ex employees but that rarely lasts long. As active as this board is it tells me there's some serious issues within. Yikes
Do employees know there is a direct correlation between share price and employee layoffs? This Board and management team has destroyed any value in this company which constantly drives the value of PayPal lower. Now we seem to be relying on lowball buyout offers to give us any hope. I have lot of company stock from the 7 years I’ve been here and it constantly goes down. Even if they sold the company for $90 a share I would still lose money over a 7 year period!!!!! That is absolutely nuts.
Kraft-Heinz and Disney just partnered… former PEP leaders…Hershey has two former PEP execs.. thriving…so what do we make of this?! Seems like strong leaders are thriving once they leave here. Will the PepsiCo BOD wake up?!
BP appoints former Balfour Beatty CEO Ian Tyler as chair

Each passing day reveals how out of touch and clueless the new CEO has become. I dread having to go a year or so under his leadership before the Board realizes another mistake and fires him while he walks away with $10’s of millions of dollars. Was this hiring some kind of way to steal hundreds of millions orchestrated by the Board. I think everyone was shocked when a guy who ran a printer company was appointed CEO. We’re moving at the speed of a printer company now. I have a lot of retirement money in stock and I hate checking the account because it’s less and less every day.
Many posts in why so many layoffs .
No mystery...look at the quality of Vz BOard and backgroubds. Then compare to Boards at AT&T and Other Dow 30.
It's so obvious the root cause of lack of strategy and execution.
Vz Board compliments of Hans DEI Noah Ark style.
I still winder how Dan claims he was ask 3X to take over from Hans.
Where was the Board sense of urgency?
The lack of honesty and transparency is on the Board.
As a result, lazy exeution strategy to layoff 16,000 and counting.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if VA eventually replaces EH as CEO. A lot of people senior leaders are frustrated that we still haven’t seen the turnaround everyone was promised.
EH is unable to get the business moving again, especially around innovation, product, and brand momentum, the board is going to have to seriously consider a change. VA could be a logical next choice given his experience and understanding of the company. Sad part is that we don’t have any good replacement options with our stock teetering in the 30’s.
Is this the appropriate section to include discussions on Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC? I wanted to make sure this was in the correct board before anything is posted.
Thank you in advance
Read the WSJ article that outlines concerns raised in 2023. How are there not Board members “asked” to resign if they swept that under the rug exposing the Company to liability?
Wonder how many of Board of Directors who selected CK as CEO are still around today to see TODAY.
They made a Fully Informed Decision selecting him, and now it’s Déjà Vu. Wonder how much the stock will quiver. If it does, it’s flattery to CK.
RV gets a seat on the OpenAI board. Now a McKinsey exec gets a board seat at BNY. What’s next in this game of thrones?
We are never getting free of him. That SETH answer was pretty much “I don’t want to retire, the board is happy with me, your happiness doesn’t matter, take your extra money and shut up”
How can an “analytics” company have negative stock price performance and consistently declining revenue for over a decade? This is a high growth market. The leadership is poor and the board is apathetic. This is embarrassing.
What surprises lie in store? What choices are being made to manage the end of quarter numbers? Not for employee benefit certainly, but to make the board think that real work is being done.
Shudder.
Would like to know if there are any managers on this board who already know who on your team you have to let go next week or soon? Were you contacted prior to give your input on anyone?
With Deutsche Telekom take over stalled, rumor on the street is Srini is out and the board wants to bring Mike back. In the words of Nike....Just do it!
So, what do you all think are the changes that are going to hit now that Jack Attack has 3 months and 24 days under his expansive belt?
Kane out <-- Too old, not bringing in the razzle-dazzle anymore
Brenda out <-- Mid market wh-z-bang not growing fast enough to hype hype hype
CTO Hughes out <-- not technical at all and an certifiable a--hole
Anyone else have any-other predictions on this disastrous team TEAM dream team? Who's next on the package and gag-order list?
After sitting in a few of the technical board review meetings, I can say this, totally unimpressed with the quality and caliber of these teammates. My dog can recite the buzzwords better and actually understand what he's barking about more intelligently, really.
There are so many trolls trying to distract from the really important discussions around (potential or real) layoffs and how to cope. Please stop this. The important discussions are drowned out.
Two kinds of distractions are especially not needed: fake Indians (used to discredit Indians instead of focusing on the real opponents: the board and upper management), and na-i postings (often referring to the AfD, which is a really despicable lot of people no decent person would ever want to have contact with).
Stop this trolling. Do not drown the important discussions with this drivel.
Thanks.
Tick tok... amazing how Congress is zeroing in publicly on Verizon/Jack Smith artic frost.
Amazing Hans fired when first surfaced.... other Execs named who ate no longer here either.
Finally, the Vz Board gets exposed on Hans failure.
Today XOM missed earnings, DW attributed the miss largely to the refining business. If youre not paying attention, refining crack spreads (profit per barrel) are the largest they've ever been. Isn't DW the refining CEO...how does the board accept and explain this comparative performance to CVX?
Enrique was chairman of the board. He did not have equal status with other board members.
To say a Board Chair is "equal" to other board members during a CEO search completely misunderstands how corporate governance works. I am refuting what someone else said to me.
While every board member gets a single vote on the final candidate, the Chairman of the Board has a completely unique and dominant role in the process.
They control the filter: The Chairman selects and directs the executive search committee.
They choose which recruitment firms to use and set the core qualifications for candidates. They decide who makes the shortlist before the rest of the board even sees them.
Controls the Agenda: The Chair manages the meeting schedules, decides which candidates get the most discussion time, and acts as the official gatekeeper of information.
Leads the Negotiations: The Chair is the person who actually sits down to negotiate the final compensation, perks, and contract terms with the chosen candidate.
Becomes the Boss: Once hired, the CEO reports directly to the Chairman.
The Chair is the one who establishes performance metrics, runs executive evaluations, and holds the leverage to initiate a firing. In corporate governance, the Chairman is not just sitting in an equal circle. They guide the entire trajectory of who gets hired, how they are managed, and how the board votes.
Enrique bears greater responsibility for hiring Alex Chriss. To the one troll on this site that probably sits on the comms team, you are wrong on this.
Will the dispatchers unionize or stay "management"
The answer is: this TRP MC member recently joined the board of another public company.
As per some speculations, FIS was bought out private equity firm. But deal did not go through as the current executive team asked for 500 million bonus payoff.
The board and buyer was willing to pay 200 million. Each Leadership team member would have received 10 to 25 million bonus, but they were adamant for at least 25 - 50 million each.
Finally the buyer took the deal off the table.
I learnt that project Fuji is real thing a and 14000 jobs impacted..any one has any insight on board area and other details?
The board extended the old man to December of 2028 Verizon is sc--wed
If they cut heads and get another $5B in free cash flow? Personally, doesn’t mean you’re smart to just cut heads, anyone could do it. Where are the new products, the innovation, the “I wanna work there” moments? I still fail to understand how Board supports a one-trick pony.
Hmmm Maybe something is afoot. Usually by now the earnings date would of been announced. Perhaps there is something that is just taking a little more time to draft and run by the board? We have been distancing our earnings to get far away from Insight's earnings to avoid dragging the stock down, but this seems quite unusual. They su-k and so do we, but what do you all think? what's the word? where's the beef?
Who will be the next CEO? If the board lets Khalaf stay until 65 or if they cut him, they need a successor, stat.
GB - took over Nov 2017. Over her tenure, shareholder value has increased by an anemic 2.8%/year, membership by just 1.4%/year, and operating margins have cratered by 52%. Meanwhile, her annual compensation has steadily increased by 7%/year. Sounds like a “2” rating performance but a 4 or 5 compensation. Shareholders should ba----g on the BoD doors demanding her ouster. Wil never happen, since BoD is stacked with her pals.
The board is getting harder to use due to what looks like coordinated astroturfing—which may be the whole point. So, I’ve pivoted to calling union reps and coworkers directly, since I'm not based near a major office. The reception has been remarkably positive. People are bringing up the Teamsters, UAW, and others. If you're exploring this route, start at the AFL-CIO site (https://aflcio.org/formaunion); it’ll point you toward local chapters.
Whatever happened to the VLC shadow board? I was energized and excited by the LinkedIn posts and game changing thought leadership. It’s clear that it made a real difference in the company, and I hope Dan and what’s left of his leadership team continue this tradition as we play to win for our customers and communities!
Ayman was given the okay from the board (including approval on HUGE spend) for what is unfolding now for F27. The caveat is that these investments must grow the business in each product group by 2%. To be clear, not an overall %, but each sales BU must show a minimum of 2% increase in sales. This investment is the cost associated with the new GTM planning and execution (a big chunk of that $$ is that all of these leaders now running the geos and various markets plus the new reports to Ayman received huge salary increases amounting to millions), $$ SKO participation, using consulting companies to help get the company on track ..surveys, planning models, etc...). The reason for all of this is the board expects to see the stock double from where it lands after final f26 results announced. The rest is moot. They don't care who resigns, they don't care whether anyone is paid what they are worth, they don't care about cost of living increases. They are going to THROW a huge and ongoing level of pretend value to employees like access to full copilot, fluffy virtual clubs you can join including those for underrepresented employees (women, minorites), surveys to get your opinion, all to convince sellers that they are behind you and your success as you face huge quota increases. Non sellers - if you make it through the end of the calendar year (2 more planned WFRs, names in boxes already), expect fewer peers and more work.
Ayman and the senior leaders get huge $$$ if they make this 2 % increase and if Ayman fails, he and his ELT get replaced.
Expect major increase in inspection.
Board is still making decisions. Ayman is their puppet.
This company should change its name now. Walgreens is gone, it was destroyed by R0z and her wrecking crew - Tracey Clown, HS1OWW who was her CIO/CCP, and several others. It's an embarrassment now, and simply needs to go away. And the Board who let it happen - Jan, Val, Ginger....should be removed from any board roles. Criminals...all of them.
