The fact that there are barely any people in the office, (South Jersey location ) it's not technically a month end yet, and let's be honest, people don't want to be in the office the week of Christmas, but let's have hot chocolate and cookies, that will lessen the blow...

The branches close at 2pm on the 24th but our dept is staying open until 5. To make matters worse they said we couldn’t work from home that day and had to report to the office. I’m just curious if this is just our dept or are all internal depts working all day on the 24th?

Leaders in past did not consider location and noisy office of its head quarter was the problem in turning company around. My advice sell it and build a nice office convenient to all. Even if it can only house 55% capacity. We can take turns going to office. They forget their ultimate goal of turning company around and instead get entangled in RTO. Without adding another location, now they are shuttering OPO.

2 Hours! That’s all you should be in there for. Doesn’t anyone follow instructions anymore. It’s the same people everyday using the same focus rooms.

What a joke. They have a library where they want you to go and read books. And makeup lamps on the desks to don your lipstick.

Just heard from a source that field employees will potentially have to start going into office to work if they are not at dealerships. Seems to be on some high ups balance scorecard that they want to get all employees in office 5 days a week again.

To nobody's shock, the actual reason behind RTO is due to inflate real estate value.
Confirmed increase in investment in local hire, goal is to eliminate remote hires entirely.
Current remote employees will be eliminated over time, first on the chopping block.
Expect a surge of investment into office spaces.

Just had a conversation with my Director and they stated that Enbridge in Ontario will be going back to full 5 days per week in the second quarter. Stated this is to be in line with the Province of Ontario mandated all government workers back to a full 5 days.

I do believe what I was told but guess will wait and see.

Is that true?

Management just took our lunch table and barricaded the printer access with it. Apparently they are going to sit their all shift and we cannot present a quote without their approval. Half expecting the bathroom access next and cant gain access until sell a BYOD+
