Nothing more to add. It'll continue to get worse as long this is the case. We'll continue with cuts, 1% here and 2% there. If you look at what they are doing, we are destroying ourselves from inside. It's hubris, mismanagement, egos, lack of skills and common sense. Lack of emphaty and any concern for the employee.

Does anybody know more about the cuts?

We're supposed to have layoffs on November 20, and yet every day somebody posts about this or that group being affected by cuts. Are people lying or is there really an ongoing pre-layoff happening, and if it is, what's its point?

Get ready everyone. Saw ours without final sales and scan and gos last month. We usually get decent bonuses and ours is complete a-s now because of the scan and go metric. Another goalpost moved to f us right in the A.

How's everyone's sessions been going? Getting forced to give at least 5% lowers? Gonna be a fun message to deliver to whoever gets short end of stick even if you have a team of high performers, who probably are doing more after the recent cuts.

It's obvious Shell is just trying to increase the attrition rate beyond what the proper re-orgs are already doing.

They’ve been he-l-bent on cutting people and gutting the teams that actually know what they’re doing and get things done.

Looks like we are joining the list.

Layoffs happened this morning again, close to 100 people from COO got laid off

I thought more layoffs were coming in November?

HR and leadership teams remain intact despite large cuts to technical and customer service staff... They exist to serve themselves.

Are they happening or not?

Not just within the company but outside as well. I guess word spreads fast when you're having cuts every two weeks. No wonder we can’t get any good candidates anymore. Good for them, su-ks for us.

Across corporate and in the stores too. This Christmas is going to be a flop. People are broke, some can’t even afford food, and plenty aren’t getting paid because of the government shutdown. With the prices up, expect spending to drop hard this holiday season. Mark my words, the results will be brutal, and we all know what comes next.

Major cuts were announced at Tower Health on Friday and hundreds are now out of a job. The Health Network says the layoffs are due to what it calls financial challenges facing healthcare providers. Tower says expenses are increasing and they need to streamline services.

I heard that we had another round of layoffs today when is it going to stop. Real talent is just getting thrown out of the window.

Any truth to it? I don’t personally know anyone, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

Certainly glad to hear it. I just thought we would have heard of more cuts, especially within Ambetter. And especially within Ambetter BH. Certainly hope it holds up for everyone, especially this time of year.

While we don't know exact count, rumour and water cooler chats are a buzz about ~1k cuts at each location / BU.

Majority of these are are level 6,7,8, squad leads, scrum masters and few 4,5 to make it seem random "business strategy alignment"

Man, Control Management was banged on.

I didn't believe it, but this site actually had legit info. I see approximately 270 were severanced this week. I say approximately because the total count of severees went up by that number compared to a week ago, but every 60 days names drop off the list so some could be excluded from the count. I didn't do a full name comparison.

Of course the "proof!!!!" posts will come. Look up D Jank and his tree. Looks like he alone lost 8. 270 is not a huge number by any means, but they keep carving away.

Customer facing roles = Safe
Operational / Back office / Marketing = Not
Mid-Level Reporting / Your job can easily be automated = Not
Band 6 and above (5 to C-Wing) = Nope

Not safe means up to 25-40% reduction.

16 more days and we will know.

Someone talking about few key well known leaders are going to let go. Anyone knows more about it. Big guys names are in the talk. Share or if you hear anything about it.

Who is most at risk of being laid off? Is it based on salary typically or what is the criteria?

Some coworkers I worked with every now and then were just let go yesterday. Are they doing layoffs every Tuesday now??

Leaders have started meetings this week to address cutting resources, mostly onshore, before eoy to meet 2026 budget and mgcc staffing commitments.

On a similar topic, there continues to be odd conversations about consolidating into a single Cary building which would only be accomplished by more cuts and offshoring.

The future doesn’t look very good for those stateside.

Is he really talking to us about how we manage our pay and cut backs we have to do at home? He did get a raise this year, when have we received a raise to support the cost of living increases?
