Just checking in. How are the quiet quitters fairing these days. Is it still a thing?
The Effects of AI on the U.S. economy.
AI does (not) - Pay Tax revenues. On the (exponentially rising) U.S. National debt of $38.0 Trillion whereby U.S. taxpayers pay approximately ($969.3 Billion in Interest a year) to outside Investors (almost a Trillion a year) that are both U.S... — read more
Survived another week, somehow. Please read

Look below for proof
That this blog is senseless. All the talk about the benefits being slashed… woohoo… no such change! Things don’t have to be as bad as you make them.
It all started with Robert Yi
Ths asian followed Titsford under his guidance and wrote the business model for the new farm then it all went south. A few months later he took a very early retirement (asked to step down). 34 billion dollar underwriting loss for 2002-2024……..omg…..
PLEASE CHANGE THE RETIREMENT POLICY
So folks can retire earlier without taking such a reduction. Please make it years of service plus age = a magic number for full retirement pay. This would be the best way to get those higher salaries off the books.
I got the severance!
State Farm is really not even a legitimate business anymore. Scam! Insurance companies from P&C carriers to Health Care are run with no consequences because they have so much money and too much influence. I'm in U/W and I'm done in November as I was... — read more
Why not buyouts the pensions
Offer fair pension buyouts. Pensions are worth 1mill min over lifetime.
2026 Healthcare Costs
Healthcare costs are going to continue to go up (for everyone) virtually everywhere. Even has AI continues to displace (entry-level white collar jobs) over time (the unemployment rate rising will continue will show it).
Benefits are getting slashed
Everyone ready for the big changes coming for benefits? Going to be ugly with rates going way up, less PTO and freezing of the pension. RTW 50% of the time effective June 01, 2026. 2026 is the year I leave SF!
U.S. Government Shutdown - (Now) the 2nd Longest in U.S. history. Soon to be 1st. What it is (Truly) about.
The Trump Tax bill - What things are (truly) about. Should (never) have been passed. Which provided $600.0+ Billion in Tax savings to the wealthy over a 10-year period. The (Interest alone) paid on the $38.0+ Trillion (and rising) U.S. National... — read more
Sad Disney movie remake!

Leadership in Action - A joke!
This last leadership in action call with JF was pretty comical. They had the usually "woke" testimonials from the usual suspects. Talked about wanting to build a "culture" at State Farm but were also basically bragging about all the people they... — read more

State Farm is pure garbage!
This company is pure garbage. I've never witnessed such a debacle in my life. Everything about it is toxic, the commercials, the service, the agents, the cr-p workforce and leadership. I talked to a customer recently that said the same thing and... — read more
Has anyone met SF's CISO???
met him for the first time the other day and i couldnt believe how this guy got to this position. another example of unqualified people getting promoted to sr leadership. omg.
FIRST THING SF NEEDS TO DO
Is offer early retirement / exit to all employees over 55.
State Farm is exhausting
Talented people are quitting left and right, pay isn’t even close to what it should be, and somehow we’re all supposed to do more with less. Even the tiniest tasks take forever, and the stress is constant. Clients are annoyed, everyone’s on edge, and... — read more
The best move now for State Farm
Would be to go on and move all into the hubs and start over. Voluntary exit all wfh employees and get this show on the road. Half in and half out is ki-ling the company. Maybe if they go all in on the hubs they can rebuild the brand.
Like a good neighbor? Nope...
State Farm has turned into the neighbor and neighborhood that you move out of because your housing values are going down, school system has now been taken over by the state and your car has been broken into twice this month. The cops are always down... — read more

State Farm is a soulless, miserable sh-t hole to just to survive
