If you take out the emotion of what the Global Brand leadership is doing, you are left with incompetent people that know nothing about financial services, managing teams in a large corporation and treating their people fairly. These are the facts. It’s quite obvious all of them are in it for themselves. All have worked 3 or less years at a job and continue to fake it to make it. They let amazing talent walk out the door to only bring in their circle of friends and family, no knowledge of our business and continue to have the actual doers train them and then treat us like pions. It’s time for positive change!! How is this allowed??

Enjoy your day off
Today is Stank's least favorite day of the year. He hates all workers and especially hates that he has to pay them for a day off. No wonder he loves foreign country workers.
Bare minimum starts tomorrow
No more flexibility with my mornings. No more working through lunch. No more working weekends and certainly no more hopping on my computer in the evenings. You’ll see me from 8-5 4x a week not a minute more. I used to give Ford more time than I should have because I was a team player and they afforded me flexibility. No longer.
What did you accomplish today?
I could probably create a kafkaesque youtube-channel about this, but interested in other people's experiences.
What did you accomplish today at work? Keep it general so you don't get identified by some schmuck.
I got mostly spam emails. Most calls were cancelled. I contemplated investing in a mouse jiggler.
Finish the sentence - "Basking Ridge, basking in ..."
I'll start - basking in the fact that they have no idea whatsoever (or care) what goes on in the CO's and garages. I have to laugh at the tonedeaf corporate videos. Life is good for some people, but the customer is not being served properly.
Happy Labor Day
After getting the RIF in Nov 2018 (65 age, 44 yrs service, only one in my position) I have realized there is no rhyme or reason.
My best opinions are;
1) It’s not business, it’s personal
2) The ELT always look out for themselves
3) What you know means nothing. Who you know means more.
4) It can and will happen to anyone at anytime.
5) Be loyal to your family, never a job. The 60’s and 70’s are gone and not coming back.
6) Trust and respect are a 1 way street and not from leadership, so don't give to them unless the earn it.
MW Fluff Piece
Another MW Fluff piece. The guy says we do culture better than Exxon. The guy is wrecking our culture and made it a dreadful place to work!

Happy Labor Day and so you all in the office tomorrow!
4 day RTO to turn the company around!
Amazing that you are still here
Absolutely astounding that the few people left here at xerox, have no clue what is honestly happening, or they just don’t care …about anything.
Digging ditches in the rain, would be considered an upgrade ☔️
But when you don’t care about anything and you are stubborn as can be. Well.. that says a lot about you.
Only a fool fights in a burning house, as you may win the battle but loose the war 🔥🏠🔥
Layoff Walking Challenge cheaters
It’s always pi---d me off looking at those people that immediately have 30,000 steps at midnight. Ain’t no way you’ve covered 30,000 steps. Also those that have 30,000 steps everyday of the challenge
Those are the people with no integrity and ought to be the ones let go.
Penny’s internet watchers putting their lists together trying to figure out who we are since we don’t believe in their reimagining. Get on the app and take note there.
H2 RIF
Expect another month of silence on both sides of the fence whilst the AVPs circle around the cauldron cooking up the next hot mess just in time for Halloween.
If you can get an exit do it now or keep logging evidence of misdemeanours and ‘managerial’ behavior to strengthen your position if you get the tap on the shoulder.
The toxic dial is being turned up daily.
Why not let Magic Johnson or Simone Biles let us go?
Penny - why pay a speaking fee of $200,000 each to hear their motivational speeches? You should have hired them to give us pep talks about “Dribbling up the middle on our resumes” and the “Uneven bars of life”.
Running on empty
Half our group is gone and the work never slowed down. We’re all scrambling to keep up, but there’s only so much we can cover. It's like IBM is intentionally trying to wear us down. I guess if we quit they don't have to pay us severance during the next RA, so it kind of makes sense.
It doesn't feel like a day off
I barely slept, and all I keep thinking about are layoffs. This job has brought me to a place where I can't even enjoy my time off anymore.
Don't be too happy about this
I know some are gloating about the India layoffs, but you really shouldn’t be. Just because they’re letting people go there doesn’t mean they’ll be hiring here. In fact, it makes it clear that things could be even worse here since they’re laying off people who cost a fraction of what we do. This is not a situation to celebrate.
Insurance risk suite town hall - September, 3
Something quite sus going on, as they kept moving this call and now it falls on the dreaded date.
Don’t know what to expect as they haven’t shared much info with us “regular” employees.
Still waiting to hear about one good or useful “reimagined” thing
All I see is frustration, anger, and disarray. Morale wasn’t great before, but now it’s completely tanked. Yes, I still have my job, but I feel sick just thinking about coming in tomorrow. Things can be done well and for everyone’s benefit, or badly, serving a few for a short while but damaging everyone else and the company’s future. Why leadership always chooses the latter is beyond me.
This deal is making me even more worried
I’ve been anxious about the future of this company ever since it clearly started its downward spiral. On the surface, this deal may look like a resolution, but to me it feels more like a continuation of the agony. More uncertainty, more stress, more pressure - and with the new owner, motives and practices are very much in question. I can only hope the transition works out for at least some of us, but honestly, I’m doubtful.
Morris Plains
Morris Plains is bad. Horrible management employees are looking over their backs. It’s not a good environment. The future doesn’t look bright here
Who’s posted for roles and who’s waiting?
9/2 is the date the tool closes. I know they know where everyone going where. The 3 choices are only formality. The new leaders pick their team. A lot of politics involved
Have the things stabilized?
Are the people under less pressure?
Layoffs seem over.
How ironic tonight in St Louis
We're at the St. Louis City soccer game. Guess what the promotional item is. Edward Jones sponsored lunch box. Seriously the weekend of he-l week? It sure got people in St Louis talking about how sad and disappointed they were of what happened. This community is behind us and feels our pain!
Leadership on a 4 day weekend
Network goes down due to our inglorious outsourcing
Retail leadership cracking skulls to convert all the traffic walking in.
This is what a sinking ship looks like ladies and gentlemen.
Does Chevron Even Have A Culture Anymore? (ChevronWay or ChevronNoWay?)
Love to hear your thoughts.
No Bonus ?
I heard directors and above will not get bonus anymore. True ?
The company is changing and seems to be in big trouble.
What do you think about this move ?
They should change Labor Day to GCC day
Because that’s all that’ll be left in a few months once the job market turns. I heard 50+ in marketing solutions are planning to bounce by EOY. They don’t trust leadership at all because of Martin and Spiegel
I would not go back to IBM, no matter how good the pay or benefits are
I would not go back to IBM, no matter how good the pay or benefits are, because their RA tactics is fundamentally broken. It isn’t based on actual low performance in sales or delivery, nor is it aligned with long-term growth habits. Instead, it’s driven by biased judgment and office politics. You can do your job well, hit every target, never complain, and even outperform others on your team, yet still end up on the chopping block.
The reality is that employees are treated like numbers on someone’s spreadsheet high up in the chain... if you never had much visibility with that person, often due to weak leadership in your reporting line (no skip-level meetings, no proper alignment, there is noo support for your role), youre vulnerable... When the pressure comes, especially over just one or two quarters, you’re likely to be cut regardless of your actual contributions.
That kind of RA strategy is not only nonsense it’s also very much destructive. It ki-ls IBM. It undermines trust, demoralizes employees, and wrecks careers for no justifiable reason. it hurts both the people and the company itself.
Working from home ≠ not working
I’ll never understand the people on these threads who equate working from home with not working. It’s frustrating that even the ELT has started to adopt that attitude. We’re three rounds of layoffs in after three years, and it’s not because people were slacking off just because they weren’t physically on site. In my group we were almost entirely WFH, regularly putting in 50-hour weeks.
Ironically, WFH actually makes it easier to work longer hours, since the project is always right there in the next room, waiting to be picked up again in the evening. Now, to drive attrition, the ELT wants me to give up an hour and a half of my day to commute. I’ll still end up bringing work home, but I won’t be able to put in the same evening hours or keep up with household responsibilities once the commute is added on.
Dell’s Uncertain Future: Executives Cash Out, Employees Burn Out
Over the past two years, Dell has fired more than 30,000 employees, with waves of layoffs continuing to hit the workforce. At the same time, top executives are frequently selling off their stock, raising concerns about confidence in the company’s direction.
Inside Dell, sweeping process changes are underway, but few employees know what the endgame looks like. The lack of transparency has created an atmosphere of fear and speculation, leaving morale at an all-time low.
Some employees are even speculating about the possibility of a voluntary separation program as an alternative to ongoing layoffs. While many doubt Dell will ever offer such an option, the fact that it’s widely hoped for underscores just how deep the uncertainty and anxiety run within the workforce.
Michael Dell himself has a reputation as a cut-throat businessman who prioritizes profits above all else. While that approach may appeal to investors in the short term, it raises questions about the company’s long-term stability and its commitment to its people.
As Dell continues to navigate this turbulent period, one thing is clear: uncertainty reigns, and the human cost is mounting.
The End! OR New Beginning!
Today is 29 Aug 2025 and it Just ended (like a lot of other US employees) my 4 year journey at bp.
At this time i would like to thank the CEO, board members, EVPs, SVPs, and other members of the executive team for destroying careers of a lot of hardworking and people smarter then them. Also, thanks to the executive team for running this company to the ground and failing to own upto their mistakes or having any accountability for their decisions that has got the company to its current state. Additional thank you for continuing to collect your bonuses without any meaningful sacrifices while laying off workers with fraction of your salaries. You all must be very of yourselves for doing a tremendous job destroying the company value while destroying people's livelihoods. You all deserve bonus Energize points. Kudos!
Early Exit and Termination for Penny?
Since this Enterprise Reimagine was so bad, who will take responsibility? There are loads of complaint from field and survivors, who should take responsibility?
Also hearing that this is the master plan that Chubak wants Penny to do ER so that he can be managing partner faster. Nobody wants to wait 5 years to see Penny retire and then taking over.
I am sickened to my stomach to see this organization go backwards in all of the values they believe in + the momentum the firm had around new business/technology/products. We lost so many unicorns and institutional knowledge that we will never get back.
No real leadership and everyone feels it
Our team is a mess because no one is keeping things in line. Personal drama takes over, but we still scramble to meet goals by working extra hours just to stay off the radar. People are tense, worried about job security, and it is draining to walk into this every morning. Proper management could fix so much, but no one steps up.
Too much for too few
So many coworkers left this year, yet nothing changes in our workload. We’re running ourselves ragged trying to cover gaps that can’t be filled. No hiring, no reshuffling, just pressure. I honestly don’t see how we keep this going much longer.
There's no need for this
Imagine what things would look like if we were not doing well financially. Just imagine for a second, when we're laying off people right now, when things are going great.
No more CPMs thanks to the AI CTO
Intel might not need any more CPMs since the attrition will be so high due to the non-existent AI strategy,no accountability, no decision making, high handedness , absolutely no market/product insight , just PPTs for academic purpose, thanks to our AI CTO. People are frustrated , angry and disillusioned. Don’t know why LBT cannot see it
This place is ruining my health
I'm so tired of this cr-p.
Keeping quiet to stay safe
Speaking up about issues just makes things worse. People who try to raise concerns always end up with even more problems, and HR does nothing to help (anybody but the bank, of course). Nothing ever changes because everyone has learned to just stay quiet.
It's crazy how quickly someone can fall out of favor
I’ve watched good people suddenly get nitpicked to death, with every small mistake magnified and every project second guessed until they finally give up and leave. It always feels personal, not professional. Nobody turns from an exemplary employee into a bad one overnight, even though management sometimes tries to make it seem that way. I’ll be honest, I’ve been walking on eggshells to avoid the same thing happening to me.
Why is everybody so worried?
Let’s be honest, how much worse can it get than it already is? I don’t know about you, but for me, it can’t. Things can only improve from here. I’m willing to give this a chance before deciding the world is ending or whatever else.
