Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Amazing that you are still here

Absolutely astounding that the few people left here at xerox, have no clue what is honestly happening, or they just don’t care …about anything.

Digging ditches in the rain, would be considered an upgrade ☔️

But when you don’t care about anything and you are stubborn as can be. Well.. that says a lot about you.

Only a fool fights in a burning house, as you may win the battle but loose the war 🔥🏠🔥

The fact that you stick up for Xerox, tells me all I need to know about you and your limited mentality.

The fact that you used the word “payed” instead of “paid” tells me all I need to know. 😆 Sure buddy. We are all going to listen to you.

Quit is my recommendation. You need a name change. You need a better client list. You need much more capitol. You need more dedicated people that are payed well. And you need a reasonably reliable product. You are lacking All of these. That’s why I said leave while you still can.

Amazing ignorance and misinformation here. Just amazing. Learn the hard way then. And….You will. I tried to warn you and you all know better. All I can say is … you have been bamboozled by Xerox.

It’s absolutely fine to stay as long as you are comfortable with and prepared to lose your job without notice. Many of us “olders” are. I enjoy the work and the people on my team very much. Now if you are younger and/or living paycheck to paycheck, you have a problem.

@eq - I share the same sentiments. This OP who puts the same tirade every couple weeks is as pathetic as they come. My guess is he was a lonely tech in some podunk town in middle America and he was let go unceremoniously. He thinks his experience and pay mirrors the rest of the nation. He’s sadly mistaken.

I like the work. Better comp than I will get anywhere else in my area. I have a great team. I enjoy the people I work with. Good balance of autonomy. WFH 100%. Why leave? (and yes I have a very transferable skillset so I am not stuck here).

Frankly, you guys with this "why are you still here" posts are boring me to tears. Right up there with those with all your expertise showing us how you could run the company better but don't offer a single suggestion. Just criticisms.

Amazing that the “Tech Powerhouse “ still relies on the Java based UI 🤮

Yeah. I’m so stupid that I’m doing much better now than I was at xerox. But all you care about is, not letting everyone know that you made bad decisions staying there. Coast to retirement? Only if you have gold in the bank and a 401k from another company. Lotsa luck.

You blamed me for being a competitor. Not so. Completely out of the industry. How ‘bout that, with no transferable skills ? Bad judgement call again. But I digress…

Yawn. … if you’re tired sleep, but no reason to stay here. The prestige of working here is long gone.

I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy, This is not 1990 Xerox, it’s a shadow and a shell of what it once was.
This place sold its soul away a long long time ago. SMH
