We're at the St. Louis City soccer game. Guess what the promotional item is. Edward Jones sponsored lunch box. Seriously the weekend of he-l week? It sure got people in St Louis talking about how sad and disappointed they were of what happened. This community is behind us and feels our pain!

@ed , I think you're living under a rock. Have a great work week....
@ed Wrong! The real number is 1061 (259 ISP + 552 VSP + 50 GP + 200 OPS ISP last year)! And the folks in ops were blatantly told to keep quiet as they were forced to train their replacements in India. And they’re won’t give a number for the amount of people that were demoted - a very strategic “quiet firing” method. Pi-s people off and make them feel like they weren’t worth paying them what they were making and they’ll not want to work for you any longer and will find another role (and then they save millions on severance in the end). And you better believe that the workloads will be increasing, setting folks up for failure, so here comes the PIPs and now they can fire people for not meeting expectations that weren’t realistic to start with.
This is only the beginning. They’ve laid out the ER plan and off-shoring is next. No one is safe. Chubak did it at Citi and he came here to do the same.
Only 259 people were laid off. Stop acting is was half the company. There have been much worse layoffs at other companies.
They knew alright. Just didn't care.
This whole ER was clearly not thought out very well, but then again, looks who’s responsible for it. They announced it over 6 months ago. No one, not a single person recognized that they were giving this out the same week? Or that they were asking people to sign their ISP cr-p with the deadline being Labor Day when no one is there to answer any last minute questions. Sickening.
You should toss it in the garbage.
