Merchant network layoffs and restructure
Grubhub, now a part of Wonder, laid off at least 10 people from Merchant Network (or whatever it's called now). Many laid off employees had been there 10+ years. I don't think GH will last another two years at the rate Wonder is gutting it of long-term employees.
Inogen is a Culture of Manipulation and Instability
Inogen is not a company that values its people or its integrity. The leadership (C-suite down to Sales Directors) fosters an environment where 'bad behavior' is rewarded and doing the right thing is penalized.
Management: The VP and Directors push the inside sales team to use manipulative tactics. If a rep tries to act ethically, they are told they are doing something wrong.
Instability: Constant layoffs and 'patchwork' solutions to deep-seated structural issues.
Ethics: There is a massive disconnect between the company’s stated values and its actual practices. It is a profit-at-all-costs environment where the C-suite is aware of the toxicity but refuses to fix it."
AI guy gets replaced by....AI

16k layoffs at Amazon, totaling 30k over the past year, or ~10%. The most important thing he said in the video was this (paraphrasing):
They are laying off AI Safety researchers and security experts in lieu of hiring more pure developers with a primary goal of automating as much as they possibly can. It would be prudent to watch these tech companies who are leading the pack and understand that what they are doing is a preview of what is to come.
2026 layoffs are doubtful
I doubt there will be any major layoffs in 2026. They want to look good with the old CEO is leaving and the new joining. There are still remote employees around that did not let go. Some they did, wonder their justification?
Stock is low
Share price at $110 and falling. What's going on behind the scenes? If it drops below $100 do you think they will punt SH and make layoffs?
All CMs and DMMs were just let go in a meeting at Corporate! It’s a bloodbath!
Run, hide, we are all doomed!
Use AI, they said...
I wonder how many Amazon employees were encouraged to embrace AI in everything they do, only to have Bezos realize their jobs could be automated?
Rated IM after Manager Spotlight Award in Nov'25 - What should be my next steps?
Hello..
Hope you all are having a better start to the year than me!
I need advice on what should I do to protect myself and if there is even a remote chance to protect myself or is the writing on the wall loud and clear ..
I am a P4 - LBEC...
May 2024 - I was displaced. While on notice, in August 2024 - I was re-hired in this current role. (different role/org/manager)
Mid year rating in 2024 - IM (I was not even there to get the rating, was already displaced) , 2024 end of year rating from the current role - IM - I was told as I started in August (it should be 'new to rate', but as I am a re-hire, the mid year rating will be CF).
2025 - Mid year rating is a Meets. Regular manager check-ins "you are doing great, keeping doing what you are doing"...November I receive a Manager spotlight award..
End of year review - IM.. I was shocked to say the least.. when I asked my manager, he said, its not his feedback but a matrixed feedback in the calibration and also when comparing with other P4s.. I even pointed to multiple stellar 360 feedback I received contradicting the matrixed feedback, all my manager said, these 360 feedback is from your stakeholders and people you worked with, but they do not report in our org and was not present in calibration... I was speechless but did not challenge it. .. did not know what to say !
I wrote an email back to my manager and cc'ed skip level - not to challenge but to point out all this and that i was never ever told that I am an IM.. no response from either..
Yesterday Manager told me of course no raise no bonus for me...and he saw my email.. and he agrees... the feedback should have come sooner than calibration.. but as he is new.. he is also learning...
That's it...
- I am now in another team, supposedly reporting to another manager, but she put her papers down, so I am back to square one reporting back to this manager again.. who has no clue of what i am working on.. and honestly does not care or has any interest..kept telling me we will continue this until a replacement comes in..
I am definitely looking for jobs .. but also wanted to understand... what can I do to protect myself or change this "I was new or yes I agree feedback should not wait until calibration" narrative... or is this all a strategy to put me in PIP and eventually let go ?
Thank you all for your time and inputs.. I am grateful.

Involuntary Separation 2026
I am thinking the ISP starts in March? Maybe March 18 to allow 30 days from previous separation? Possible, April.
Watch what will happen next….
With prices being dropped to get more customers in, ARPU falling and acquisition costs therefore going up…..margins and cash flow are falling and will continue to, and guess what’s next……yes, more major headcount reductions coming soon to try and improve the margins. It is simple P&L math, just watch…..
Today Marked Six Months Since I Was Laid Off (FE-HSE)
Today marked six months since I was laid off.
I realized it in a strange way. I got in my car to grab coffee and, out of pure habit, drove straight to work. I was already pulling into the parking garage when it hit me: oh sht, I don’t work here anymore. I turned around and drove home.
When my wife asked where I’d been, I told her I was just driving and thinking. And I was. I thought about the people who were laid off before me, some of them were ten times the employee I ever was. They didn’t lose their jobs because of performance; they lost them because of bravado, politics, being labeled “too much,” or because the wrong VP didn’t like them. Most of them have landed great roles at other Fortune 100 companies.
My wife suggested I reach out to them, to call or email and ask for help. I told her I’d be surprised if any of them even responded. The truth is, several of them had reached out to me when they were let go, and I stayed silent. I didn’t want them back then. They felt like competition.
A lot of the people who stayed weren’t chosen for the quality of their work, but for who they knew, and honestly, being female or non-white didn’t hurt either. I’ve reached out to friends still at Chevron. No response. I’ve reached out to people who were laid off before me. No response.
I call them friends, but maybe we never were. Maybe we were just people using each other until there was no value left, and then we were discarded.
Right now, I feel like I’m walking alone, and it feels terrible. I made a lot of money as a 26+, but it’s lonely at the top (if you call 26+ the top), and it hurts to know people are calling you an a--hole behind your back. I tell myself “fu-k them,” but it still hurts.
It really hurts. I keep wishing I had been a genuine friend instead of just a company friend. I wish I had lived out the faith I claimed, instead of being a “corporate Christian,” saying the right things for appearances. Lately, everything hurts. I’ve done a lot of soul-searching, but I still feel empty.
This is not done.
Be on guard & be prepared mentally. Add skills & Invest in self. We will see many more & very soon.
Think this through
For everyone on here wanting to know departments, locations, that's the least of your worry. What you need to be seeing is the long term picture here for Cigna. Companies trim fat for multiple reasons. The reason everyone thinks is greed, that's partly true.
You can't sell a company as a whole or sell parts of it off if your numbers are horrible. Cigna is positioning themselves to be sold, the writing is on the wall. They need numbers to look good, number of employees to be good, everything has to line up 100% before they find a buyer for the company.
Mark my word, come back to this post later in. In less than a year this company is sold and part of it won't exist, other parts will. Those in the higher up spots will be compensated nicely b/c they made it profitable long enough for a sale.
C-Suite Has Money. What they desperately want is respect.
Give them none.
Skeletor, Cuervo Swerve-O, and SD have no compunction about making our experience as employees worse. From cutting our 401k match to delusional AI boosterism, they've demonstrated they are incapable of leading.
Mock them for the hacks they are whenever you can.
No Raise if…..
Your salary is past the mid point. Just another FU from this sh-t a$$ company. Can’t wait to leave
Amplify....
Thoughts on Amplify this week?
Here's what came to mind... after a painful week, I had to fly in and can't get home fast enough.
It's a cult around this place
Winning, winning, loosing?
Leadership has their heads in the sand
Nothing to address stress of layoffs
Nothing to address loss of market share
Nothing to address sinking services business
Seems to me that with so much a$$ kissing that I witnessed first hand, this week alone reinforced that I have ZERO confidence in this company.
What are your thoughts for those that were there? Is it just me and I can't just jump into the cult?
Layoffs are coming at Brevard Schools
Layoffs are expected at Brevard Public Schools ahead of the 2026–2027 school year. According to a Jan. 28 letter from Superintendent Mark Rendell, the district plans to cut each department by 7% due to ongoing declines in student enrollment.

Worst Board, CEO and HR. When employees are treated like trash, where are legal and ethics?
since when did USAA become so brutal. It's very traumatic and damaging mentally of someone escorted out with hundreds of eyes staring. Nobody wants to be shamed publicly.
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Slashes Jobs as Financial Woes Deepen
- The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston has made layoffs for the second time in six years.
- The museum is suffering from a $13 million projected deficit.
- Affected employees reportedly include three endowed curatorial posts.

Got the news today. Now I can't sleep.
I was completely blindsided. There was never any indication I'd be considered for layoffs. High performer, never had an issue. Over eight years of a great record. For future reference - nobody, and I mean nobody, is ever safe.
Are they really going to cut 10K people in the next two months?
It wouldn't be a shocker, though. I just want to know if there's an actual strategy guiding all of this, or if they're still just fumbling in the dark. Either way, I hope they release me from my misery this time around.
How much more pressure can they possibly put on us?
It gets harder every day. They’re milking our fear of losing our jobs for all it's worth. Since the last round of layoffs, the workload has far surpassed what’s left of our capacity. I watch people work themselves into the ground every day, even after we all just witnessed that none of it matters when your number is up.
Ericsson to cut jobs in Ireland
R&D jobs being cut in the Athlone campus.
corporate greed at it’s finest
I’m really regretting my decision not to take the voluntary early retirement because I feel like the inevitable is going to come anyway. I put my heart and soul into this company for over 20 years, and it feels like a punch in the gut that we are so disposable. I hope someone speaks up during tomorrow’s open mic meeting to ask the question that is on everyone’s mind. How do the corporate executives feel good about taking multimillion dollar bonuses and raises every year while the real workers that helped to make Cigna the corporate giant that it is today suffer. They should be ashamed. I have to wonder what would happen if everyone remaining banded together and refused to report to work for just one week, it would cripple them. They are too arrogant and greedy to see that we are the ones that make this company work.
Layoffs before new CEO
I would expect major layoffs before the new dude starts in April
He won't want to be the bad cop straight away so it will be done before then
Cigna/evernorth/express scripts whatever it is this week
Why is everyone not posting what area/department they are in? Why would you owe this company any discretion whatsoever? They don’t/have never cared for their employees. I can’t speak for everyone but at my location Every year it’s something new to stress about.. lay offs, VTO, forced retirement, new laws passing or not passing, no overtime for months at a time, can’t use your PTO for months at a time. They never let us get caught up when we are behind. They will use overtime one week then the next be using VTO and sending people home. They’re laying 2,000 of us off but still actively having job interviews and hiring people? I’d say it’s not a loss at all to be laid off from this place. I’d wait, get laid off, take my severance, then get a better job. If they had any brains at all they would get rid of all their people in charge that are making millions bc they clearly don’t know what the he-l they’re doing. My thoughts go out to all those already laid off and future people. I say get out and day as much info to us as possible. You don’t owe this place anything.
2 Firestone plants in Gaston County laying off dozens of workers

I've grown not to care about the layoff rumors
It’s not that they're always wrong. It's that I've become so exhausted by the constant stress, uncertainty, and pressure that I've gone numb. If my job is gone, I'll just deal with it somehow - bad job market, rising costs and all. I just can't deal with this cr-p anymore.
More MercyOne layoffs announced in Iowa
MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines will lay off 67 workers, effective March 17.
That’s according to a new listing on Iowa WARN.

Layoffs / RTO Phase 2
Anyone else hearing rumors of layoffs / RTO Phase 2 for next week ahead of all hands mtg on Wednesday?
Will they wrap up the layoffs by the weekend?
Judging by reports, even more remote workers were let go today. I'm so sorry for what we're going through, and especially for those already impacted.

Pearson Vue is not the same
I was a former employee of 35 years at Pearson Vue. I too was let go on the 12th. I gave all my loyal and dedication to this company for a lot of time. I was mortified when I found out that my job had been eliminated due to it being outsourced to India. This will fail as everything else will fail because everybody is just a $to them. This is not the company that I show loyalty to for all the years so I’m OK with leaving as I did knowing that I put my best effort forward. They let a lot of good people that dedicated all their time to helping Pearson be what it is today. So sad. They were so sneaky about how they did the layoffs. Some people still don’t know the total number of employees who were let go. Most of the people who I am aware of were here 15 plus years.
