I was released on 3/4 and ever since leaving life is SO much better. It feels good to smile again and enjoy life beyond AT&T. Just curious if my previous post from February was accurate in predicting additional upcoming layoff dates:

I have enough saved for a full retirement. I am so much happier now that I made it to my goal. Every day feels like Saturday!! Best wishes to all and hope you are able to meet your goals!
@a3 - I worry about friends from my department I left behind. I know they are struggling, but some are close to retirement and hoping they can meet their goals before being let go. That is why I keep up with the layoff board.

After leaving AT&T, my life was empty. I fill some of it by coming to this site and posting.

AT&T has been floating on this river a long time and provided many people a buoyant ride to prosperity and grift alike.
Reading the river - It will continue to do so in the terrestrial fiber to the home for the next 15 to 20 years. However the mobility business will slowly decline as satellite technology and the future mark of the beast AI surveillance state continue their efforts to smothering grasp for our individual rights.
Mobility will be a bloodbath in the short term. Eventually AT&T and a major competitor or up to both will combine into a single company and work in close partnership with the government, eventually becoming a part of the world government

Life is SOOOO much better after leaving toxic T!! I managed to find a new home where the CEO actually knows something about business and the company stock has in 6 months risen twice what T is worth. That said, I feel for my friends which I left behind, but look forward to the day they escape the nightmare Stank has created.
Those dates were in an HR newsletter distributed to me by my AVP.
The Walmart gig gives me free time for the layoff boreds.
There is nothing to predict. The calendar is posted and these dates are not the ones.
Did you retire or found another opportunity? I know it’s the best time for retirees.
Instead of paying retiree healthcare they now pay severance.
