Has anyone heard anything about the older and tenured employees being offered severance if their age + tenure is over 60? I would gladly volunteer to go so that someone younger could keep their position.

I heard a rumor in November that management had no decision in the personnel that were fired and that it was all determined by AI. Can anyone with HR intel verify if that is true and how are layoffs being determined for the next round?

Victra will make all kinds of promises to you that everything will be the same or better than it was, but they're full of bullsh-t. If your store is bought by them, you're better off taking the severance and going on unemployment

Will HCL be gone when their contract is up? Or will Big Red keep them around to muck up the works?

It often feels like employees with strong connections or managerial support receive more flexibility, while regular, hardworking employees are the ones most affected during layoffs. Performance should matter more than favoritism.
