Big layoffs planned for end of March. Happening before pay increases take effect.

I'm hearing of another large wave of layoffs that were announced this week (also confirmed by LinkedIn posts). It looks like it might be hitting BID and maybe the Carlsbad site in particular. Can anyone provide more detail on who was impacted?

Anyone know what’s going on in Carlsbad? There’s a WARN notice posted with the state of California for 173 employees in 5781 (ops building) for March. It says temporary layoff, anyone know anything?

On LinkedIn I Noticed a few of my former coworkers in Pittsburgh looking for new roles and "Open to work", was there a lay off at TMO? These were people that planned to retire there so I don't think it was their choice.

And so it continues. Big reoorgs across life sciences with lots of headcount loss and vague messaging from leadership. Seems this one was not R&D this time, more product management and marketing.

I was officially laid off this morning at PPD in Richmond. Role was senior scientist. Several others in roles ranging from Senior Scientist to Research scientist were also released.
