Thread regarding Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. layoffs

RTO, soft layoffs?

So, it happened. The RTO orders came out. The typical line “in person collaboration” blah blah. Does your home office have enough desks? Is this just a push to cut position without having to do an actual RIF?
Any on here impacted and what are you going to do?

I've been hearing the same. I was hired fully remote and am 60mi to the Logan site so I'm technically outside of the "50mi" that was stated. However, if they start using the Ogden site, then I'm sc--wed. This is not what I signed up for and they're pulling a bait and switch. Not a good way to treat employees.

I did not receive any RTOs, my role has always been remote I’ve been here pre-COVID.
