When email?
Should we expect emails first thing tomorrow or tomorrow after hours? how does it usually go?
I'm looking forward to layoffs
Anything is better than this. When layoffs start, this time I'll be praying to be included among those who are getting cut. There's only so much a person can take. I'm done. In case I'm not among the lucky ones who'll get severance to leave, I'll... — read more
Humana really don't care
Humana is just chasing dollars for stock holders. They don't care about associates as we can see on this board but also they don't care about members. Watch this video about Medicare Advantage. Medicare Advantage NO MORE? | Congress Finally... — read more
Voluntary layoff
Does Humana accept volunteers for a RIF ? I worked for another organization that accepted volunteers during the Rif and provided the same monetary severance package to those who volunteered. Anyone heard of this option at Humana?
How much details gave our managers known
Curious, I know several posters have mentioned that their direct managers have been kept in the dark as much as us, the worker bees during this realignment. However I find it very disappointing that a manager can tell one team member who holds the... — read more
Layoffs info
Email invite after business hours on the 7th. Meeting for notification on the 8th. This lines up with the November RIF last year. Bumping this to the top for info.
Nurses and Autodialer
Nurses, what are your thoughts about the autodialer? If you've had experience working with an autodialer how did that work for you and members? My thoughts as a 40 year nurse is that nurses need to be prepared before we care for the patients, which... — read more

It's like the Hunger Games Around Here

I am surprised with Humana reviews on Glassdoor and indeed. How come they have so much positive ratings while many of us are living under constant fear of job cut? Do your part by sharing your story in a positive way on this platform with the... — read more
Chronically anxious state of mind
Humana is certainly not a place for those who can't bear uncertainty. Everything is always uncertain here and everyone is chronically anxious about whether they will become jobless. Is all that stress worth it? I don't think so. It makes no sense... — read more
Supervising Nurses
Is anyone aware that one of the ADs over a region of HCS is not a nurse? According to my state's RN licensure last only an RN or a Licensed PHYSICIAN may supervise RNs. How is Humana getting away with this?
Rumor: 700 employees
Who thinks the number of impacted employees will be significantly higher than that?
Has anyone heard anything about GMS?
New here-sorry. Any word on RIFs within GMS?
Micromanaging company
The only thing they care about is micromanaging their employees. A good coach is the key to success! A bad coach will make your life miserable! This is my opinion of course.
Lack of Job Security

Some still think that their position is safe
Speaking from experience, very often those who think their job is safer are the first on the cut list. Why do some people still think that there is someone here who is safe? No matter how valuable you think you are - my advice to everyone is not... — read more
Realization
I came to the realization that I’d like to be RIFd. If I’m at this point, it is because of all the dysfunction and stress and it’s not worth it. I’d like the severance to be able to look for another job without having financial deficits. If I’m... — read more
