What were your thoughts on Humana’s 2Q 2023 call this morning? Is there anything that stood out to you?

I don't know what your role is within Humana, but I don't have time to look for this information. I also do not have time with our usual work load to attend various meetings. We have a quota to meet.
Everyone is invited to the call, the information is out there
Humana needs to start sharing the wealth with employees. maybe thats why they don't invite work force to earnings call
They also tend to have the article about it on the hi page, too
It’s taped you can hear it at anytime.
Not allowed to go to meetings
To the person who mentioned they were never invited to the earnings call — you actually don’t have to be. I always thought upper leadership only had the ability to attend those calls, but anyone within the Humana enterprise can attend. Before one is scheduled, the Humana HI page will have an announcement, with a link. You add the calendar invite to your calendar and then join when it starts. It’s usually very early in the morning. Usually starts around 9am EST.
Reduction in admin costs= project growth. They tell a tale of this initiative completing but obviously not the case. More jobs will certainly be lost BUT this time they are trying to be more discrete.
Reduction in administrative costs is code for hiring freezes, reorgs and RIFs. It’s what they do.
A lot of focus towards Centerwell centers and home health, which are the areas with posted openings right now. "Reduction in administrative costs" may mean CM, BH and UM will have cuts
It is open to all employees.
Never invited to the earnings call. Wouldn't know.
What do they mean by reduction in administrative cost? That was a red flag.
