Informed today that more SS associates are being hired in Medicare case management so it looks like RIF in case management is no longer an issue 🙂

I’m a social worker and I’m concerned!
Medicare case management telephonic supports should be a bit concerned. Going to dialer, as much as it’s sold as a good thing, is putting the paint on the barn door, as they say, it’s related to increasing productivity and reducing utcs, and is put in place to increase certain numbers, and those are departments that should be both thankful and concerned as their numbers are not what’s meeting expectations….not people, but departments they are wanting to see a bigger return on overall, I was told
It is still an issue, based on enrollment and productivity, and those SW can also be transitioned to other programs, such as SNP
