I wish it wasn't true, but I've heard from multiple people that there are minor layoffs happening that the company is trying to keep under the radar. Is that correct? Is there anyone to confirm or deny this?

It definitely happens. A former position I held in Trend Analytics and Forecasting (TAF) was RIF'd and replaced by a newly-opened lesser paid position back in 2019 well after after the big announced round of layoffs occurred that year. I applied out and secured another position within the company. Nobody other than my leader and VP was informed that my position had been RIF'd. My leader announced my departure to the rest of the department as though I left on my own volition. I left the company last year but it always seemed that these types of situations were becoming more frequent, not less.
Below poster- in addition to market point?
As of yesterday multiple mid level mangers have been getting parting calls as well as their entire teams.

Poster, good point….earnings have dropped, news articles say costs of health care is going up and premiums are going up, yet the hi page is about something else all together. The earnings dropped is concerning, and if premiums are going up, more members may leave
I work in the specialty pharmacy division for Humana/CWSP. Our management told us last week of cost cutting such as limited traveling for managers. In addition our division isn’t going to hit the forecasted numbers for revenue. My fear is that they will start with laying off jobs that corporate seems as non mission critical. However that hasn’t happened yet. It’s also been strangely quiet.
