So the "pilot" to determine ROI for HCS case management has supposedly ended and results are pending evaluations of claims, etc. that have not yet pended. Results should be known "in a few months" per a leader. That seems to be on track for another end of the year RIF in my opinion. Anyone else hearing anything?

Remember the days of “work to the top of your license “? And dialer, when the UTC metrics weren’t so weighted on things you couldn’t control?
Perhaps they should have invested more in trusting licenses Registered Nurses’ knowledge and expertise that they have rather than thousand of dollars on a “dialer program” we don’t need. Give the nurses a break. We work hard. We are so micromanaged now that we can’t get a glass of tea or stretch without auxing something for fear we will end up badly on one of the REPORTS.
This year for sure. I don’t have a full days work now. Humana’s not going to let you sit there for very long.
I wonder if CM will be RIF'd this year or next?
There’s little to no ROI for CM programs. Unless the readmission rate falls to under 12% and people don’t use their benefits, I can’t see CM programs lasting.
Running out of work so early in the day is a red flag. I’m sure we will have a RIF at the end of the year. Hopefully we will last that long.
