They will treat you like an onion. They will cut you, peel you and throw you away like the outer skin, and you will be left with tears in your eyes!

Now comes the part where we are expected to "be team players" and take on more work to cover for those who were laid off. I'm done with it. I'm refusing. Everybody should consider doing the same.

I suppose it varies by region. I've looked at the Obamacare policies and even the platinum plans are lousy.

Noticed projects with more counts in offshore got affected a lot in latest layoff ? One way to say is these projects are matured and less revenue making. The other way to say is to cut offshoring and build more in happening places.

It seems that most of the layoffs happened in the OCI and Fusion apps organizations. Do you know if there were any layoffs in JL / Database org?

Is this confirmed? Coming soon, should be done by August end. Same quotas. Lists submitted weeks ago. Few APAC countries first, then EMEA. That said OCIs timeline will be a bit different than GBUs, OHAI and so on. OP: @a5+1k2mw425c

Just confirmed that this time RIF spreads to Ukraine, Romania, India, Mexico development centers and remote workers. Utilities haven’t had layoffs in engineering for past 10 years. I heard second wave is possible.
