In my case, the disappointment is huge. I couldn't have even imagined that Humana was a company like this when I applied for a job here. To make matters worse, I left a great job because of this one here. It didn't take me long to realize that I... — read more
Humana has given me zero reasons to stay
And about a hundred to leave. So that's what I'm doing.
Staying?
Out of the remaining nurses (primarily those transitioning to salesforce) that were not impacted by the recent reduction in force, how many have decided to leave anyway?
Disappointed in HR
I am very disappointed. I have a problem with a manager who, for some unknown reason, harbors some kind of animosity towards me. I asked colleagues how they see the whole situation and people confirmed to me that I am not imagining and... — read more
Discouraged and disillusioned
Such a strange feeling these days - I feel invisible as my leader and colleagues no longer respond to me, and my work has been taken over by others who are taking all the credit. As the CEO continues to talk about “belonging” and senior leaders talk... — read more
People go for less pay
A few years ago, it would have surprised me if someone had gone somewhere else for a smaller pay, but nowadays it doesn't surprise me at all that a lot of people go for a 10-15% lower pay. I myself am debating whether to stay here and wait for... — read more
Last days here
I would like to leave as soon as possible but the fact that I have to be here until Jan.1, 2022 in order to be eligible for AIP does not help. Everything should be much easier when I know that I will be in another company at the beginning of next... — read more
I got an offer
It's a 15 percent reduction in pay but I'm actually considering it just to get away from here. I'm tired. I'm tired of having zero work/life balance and I'm tired of giving it my all and still being yelled at by my manager. I deserve better than... — read more
Question
If you resign, and you’re not part of the RIF, do you have to give 2 weeks or 4 weeks notice?
I don't put in effort any more
I used to worry a lot that everything I do is perfect, that I do everything the best I can, but now I don't do it anymore. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to give 120 percent of themselves because there is no guarantee that you will survive... — read more
Forgotten by leader
These past few weeks have been torture since learning I was one of the ones being laid off. I had a meeting with my supervisor immediately after the announcement, but since then, I feel completely ignored. We are forced to attend weekly team... — read more
Humana Layoffs 2022
Do you think there may be small/medium/large Humana layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?
anyone hearing any chatter?
For those who were RIF'd or opted out, has anyone heard anything about an early release? It seems awfully quiet around here. Waiting for the last day is painfully long....
SA Q
Here is a question for those of you with confirmed/diagnosed social anxiety, how do you manage to succeed during interviews, client meetings, team hangouts, etc?
Are all telephonic jobs in danger?
Since Humana is pivoting more towards in-home services, does that mean all telephonic jobs are in danger at this point? I know some will still remain but what kind of numbers are we talking about here? Will we have more mass layoffs before the end of... — read more
Susan Smith Org Layoffs?
Hearing chatter about cuts in Susan Smith’s organization. Has anyone heard anything about her organization or any others in addition to the CM/ECOM cuts?
How Many
Does anyone know how many nurses were RIF'd? Even better how many in each role?
Enough is enough
Too many people are being cut. We're losing people as it is to attrition and now they decide to implement even more layoffs? They're trying to find shortcuts to cost cuts without considering the future. Save now, think about the consequences later... — read more
Thank You to those who opted out!
Thank you to everyone that opted out. You saved many jobs. I really enjoy my job at Humana and did not want to leave. Wishing you all the best in your new journeys and just know many of us are very grateful!
The grass is not greener!!
I have worked at Humana for 7 years. In the beginning it was great. I am grateful for that time and people I met. Fast forward to the last 2-3 years. The more you do the more they want. When Humana was sued over not paying hourly wages I did not... — read more
Leader sucks

Business meeting?
Anyone get a “business meeting” invite for tomorrow?
Front Line Leads MIA?
Anyone else have their FFL, suddenly leave this afternoon. I think the RIF is in motion.
News? Too quiet in here.
This site is usually so active when RIFs are happening. How is every one? Are people having luck applying for and getting other positions? Are your managers being helpful and supportive? Who knows stuff but isn’t talking?
Reducing clinical staff
Humana is hiring clinical staff trainers and reducing clinical staff numbers. It is very top heavy and soon the “leaders” won’t have anyone to lead. And no one to help members. Good luck with that. RIFs every year.
Is it random?
For those with prior experience or inside info, do they decide who to lay off randomly? Seems like there is absolutely no information about that.
Humana military
Is there any talk about the humana military department? The grant ends next year and so many families and providers aren't happy. There have been so many changes recently. And so many people quitting. I'm wondering if Humana is trying desperately to... — read more
Humana Husband

Maybe they think that transparency can hurt productivity
What is happening is actually the opposite. While I expect the important information to be given to me, Humana decides not to give that information to its employees. What do they really want to achieve that way? If they want to achieve higher... — read more
Another Day and no news

I've never had less work to do
Yes, work is slim. That might suit some people here but personally it worries me because I have a feeling it’s one big red flag that I could be a layoff target. I am preparing to hear the worst in October. I'm almost sure I'll be cut. I wonder how... — read more
Social workers

Behavioral Health
Does anyone have any information on what folks in BH can expect? With the IMBH CM position being pretty much eliminated and most associates now doing consultations it is odd that nobody is talking about how HAH BH will or will not be affected.
Vaccine exemptions?
Is there anyone that has filed a religious exemption that has been notifed it was approved? Considering attempting to invoke my right to be exempted due to my religious beliefs vs leaving. Wondering if I should even bother.
Not the same company
Humana has gone downhill. The morale of all employees is at an all time low. They have taken a really great company to work for down the drain. Many long time employees are sadly opting out of the company. This is 100 percent true. I don't know of... — read more
Humana & Centene rumors again....

Anyone think earlier than stated?
I wonder if they will tell us earlier than end of October? They could say we were all anxious and so many people opted out or something. Or do you all think it will really drag out over another month?
