I wish to get out of here. I've become too dissatisfied because, considering the amount of work, I'm not adequately paid at all. I have a good relationship with the manager, but I still don't know if it's wise to try to somehow inform him that I would like to be on the layoff list?
Does anyone have experience with this?

let your supervisor know that youre a self made millionaire. As an example, you could non chalantly mention that you're so glad that you had the foresight to invest in Apple before the iphone was inroduced. Otherwise, you would be worried about getting laid off. This will definitely get you laid off. Humana 75Management hates independent and financially successful employees. They have absolutely no leverage over you. No fun for them

It’s not like you get a package that’s different then if you’re RIFd. I wouldn’t do what the below poster suggested, because if you’re not on the list, you may have shot yourself in the foot with your lead, that you’re not a team player, which may impact you in the future. If this was any other job, would you tell your boss you wanted to be laid off or you’re looking for another job?
If you’re on the list, that’s one thing. But they aren’t going to let you go, if you’re higher up on the list to keep someone lesser ranked. You’re not saving someone else’s job….and you risk hurting yourself. Wait out the month, see if you’re impacted and go from there
Talk to your manager privately and let him know you're interested in a package. Nothing is done until it's done.
The PITAs may be complete but maybe not.
If that fails start applying for a new job.
Just apply to various jobs outside of Humana. Once you find a job role that you think you would be suitable for, you can always put in your two weeks resignation. Unfortunately, I don’t think voluntarily severances are being accepted. As others have mentioned, PITA’s have already been decided.
If the PITAs are done, are we looking at hearing mid October, or still closer to November, for the 60 days correlated with the end of the quarter?
You are too late. The PITA's have been done. If you're number is up it's already been decided. Just move if it's that bad. Not sure why you want to elect for a RIF if moving is that difficult.
I’ve seen people ask to be RIF’d outside of a a bigger layoff. Ask your manger for a package to be let go. You’d be surprised that they are open to the conversation.
There is no layoff list, it depends on your ranking, they’re not taking voluntary separating at this time. Wait to see if you’re RIF’d, if not look for another job….but, no severance
