Some of the most arrogant and slacker got laid off from my team. Layoffs are not always bad. I work for clinical IT.

Clinical IT?
Sometimes layoffs are good. They can weed out the underperforming, the incapable, bad fits and slackers. Layoffs often expose cracks in the team and can shed light on bad leaders, especially once the laid off are gone. Sometimes those affected can find something better suited for them. Good people do get laid off. Roles and entire departments can be eliminated or bad leaders can force associates they feel threatened by out. The threat of a lay off can also push people to leave, opening up positions for those effected. I’ve been laid off in the past, and can say it’s heartbreaking and not easy. It messes with your mind so let’s support the fallen.
Our manager knows nothing about our team. He-l she knows nothing period . We don’t even know what the he-l she does . She does however get manipulated by some of our team or played like a piano. I think we have several psych cases or our team . Who will be cut ?
