It seems that every department is impacted

Is there any department that is not impacted?

NoTrustOfSuits — Lol at your name. I couldn’t agree. So beautifully articulated. The town halls mainly consist of word salad intertwined with sweet lullabies. So outrageous.

My area is safe, for now. A Town Hall is tomorrow so I hopefully will have more details after that.

That makes sense…the direction away from case management for Medicare members, but decreasing hospitalization with the short term interventions for support. This is the model that is providing the reimbursement. They tried it with the ECOM pilot and Salesforce 2 years ago, but that idea didn’t quite pan out, so they restructured it, reteamed it, and now with the regionalizations that will be the model for the MA members.

The garbage flows downhill in every company, starting w/the executives. There's been calls for BB to resign or be canned for years. The buck stops with him, but his concerns are more about what shareholders think lately it seems. I was on a call this past week where instead of talking about the "people", they spoke about "shareholders", and the company. So much for the culture of caring about people, & to pull this now, after so many went through hardships during COVID. Lack of tact, even for an organization of this size. We may never understand the why's or why nots from these suits, but for certain, no one has been safe. These town halls of late I think are designed to make the suits "feel" like they conveyed that they care about us, so that they can sleep at night.

@1wmo+1iC5im8s — Do you feel comfortable sharing what department was safe?

Seems that lots of departments were impacted. Ours sure was, though our immediate team was safe. Didn't matter if you were technical (we are) the slashing was deep.

No, BB's office (a.k.a. his home on Key Largo) is not safe either. Hurricane Earl is on the way.
