Updated Department Specific Layoff

If you have been laid off recently, What department were you in and what band level? I see a lot of Evicore people are being laid off. I'm wondering if this applies to any other Cigna preauthorization department? Customer Service reps? IT teams? etc. Also, were you given any notice, or were you laid off immediately without notice? I'm just trying to see where Cigna is going with this. The suspense kinda got me what to just quit and go full force with my side business.


Suburban Building

NM did you see Rockwell is building their new location in New Berlin? Not Downtown and not close to the city. Why? Downtown is dead and only a fool would continue to build there. Add Rockwell to the long list that keeps moving out of the city as NM wants to move in.


No raise ?

I didn’t get a raise and have heard of a number of people who are in the same boat. What’s going on? Does TI want us to leave because we are pi---d ? This is a slap on the face, I worked really hard last year


Why so serious???

No more Tricky or Nicky season but good, honest and well reviewed transparent hard work. No politics, corporate sponsored backstabbing or brown nosing.

I know many of you are not ready to do a full day of work. But you should be dealt with shortly.


Any idea when the enhanced IOE reporting goes live?

In a January post (https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1kezt9p2t), a couple of folks mentioned enhanced IOE reporting that is coming. “Enhanced” means cross-referencing badge swipes with the laptop connection to the Truist wifi. One of my colleagues who is close to HR confirmed that there is a team dedicated to this activity, but he did not know when it was going to be rolled out to managers. If you’re on the team – or close to someone who is - please let us know when the reporting is scheduled to go live. Reason I’m interested is that my managers are going to be all over this when it happens. They are already hassling people who aren’t hitting the 5-day target. If you miss one day in a given week, you’re getting an email. “You didn’t get manager approval!” So much for flexibility and treating experienced adults like adults


Hub Locations

I thought the goal (at least in part) of RTO was to get folks together in HUB locations to collaborate and sing Kumbaya while holding hands. I see a lot of exceptions made for certain people. Many managers are reporting to non hub locations and it’s perfectly fine. Why the double standard?


Legal Change

Is there any other country that had their legal name changed in since January 1st?
I think X is positioning their ponds under different entities to declare bankruptcy under our current operating legal name and then operate there book of business under entities that had their legal names changed.
