I’m sure you’ve seen the news about the Amazon debacle where AWS was taken down for half a day by an AI mistake. This will not be an isolated incident. Expect more of this as companies keep replacing experienced employees with flawed AI systems. Why everyone keeps doubling down on this is beyond me.

But am blown away at the number of id--ts, racists and trolls that are posting and commenting.

It use to be 80% informative and 20% id--ts, racists and trolls. Those numbers have flipped since lads summer.

Curious what everyone thinks about the upcoming LP. I feel like it is too good to be true about uncapping the profits (I think they said this?). Meaning we can go about the fixed return. Most of the posts here are from people who were let go or did not like the company policies like RTO. Would like to hear from folks who left the firm as you couldn't deal with your immediate manager or one above them - basically management who knows who you are and what you do. What was the red line for your decision? Have you found another job? Which part of the firm you were in - Ops, TSG, Engineering, etc.
