Why does everyone at Lexmark and now the legacy- Xerox SLT think that everything that Lexmark do is fantastic. They lost $600 million last year so I do not understand???

The email subtly hints at more layoffs. It clearly states road ahead will be filled with confusion and what not. any thoughts? Or did everyone even get it?

For once I don't think it's layoffs because they'd be happy to announce that given any opportunity. I'm not sure what it is instead though.

Can someone please break it down for me the main differences between the 1st wave and the 2nd wave? It sounds like the 2nd wave has a longer transition period until April 1st while the 1st wave only had 30 days? Just trying to be mentally prepared for what the 3rd wave would look like. Thank you all for your inputs. This forum has been more helpful and informational than any leader(s) could be.

I just want to know- if everyone thinks Belks is “going under” , what’s the point of the Belk’s rewards credit cards then? Why is there such a push to get them? If Belks falls the cards will be useless to anyone/everyone. So, why’s there a push for this if so many people think Belk’s is not doing so great? Do you think the credit cards will save a company from collapse?

How many layoffs can we expect as the result of the AkzoNobel merger? I know some are thinking this will not affect Axalta much but I'm worried. I don't know of many major mergers that were done without at least some cuts on both side, and usually it's much more than "some."

Saw that RIO plans to sell the mine. Any idea who the buyers will be? Any layoffs?
