As part of re org, I noticed that some associates who were previously managers are now individual contributors. Was this a demotion or a lateral move? If it was a lateral move, does that mean their salary remained the same?

Manager survey
Does this even matter? Also I'm curious does this survey go to all associates? Or does the manager select a few designated pets who take the survey (which doesn't seem accurate as I am far from a pet lol) My manager despises me because I ask him... — read more
"In coming weeks" nightmare
I am sick to my stomach after hearing "more updates to follow in coming weeks" day after day. While I try hard to not let this BS affect my productivity, it's becoming harder to focus
It’s 50%
The hr requirement is 50% for in office time. I’ve seen the policy in writing. I’m so sick of managers lying about HR saying how terrible they are. I honestly think managers bonuses are tied to the in office attendance.
Cooling off period
What is the cooling off period for rehiring employees who were laid off in May?
Fid Wealth/Reorgs

This place has become a punchline

What about dedicated teams and layoffs?
Has anyone heard anything about the dedicated teams? Like those who work for BOA or TD,etc. some of those were re-badged but anyone know how they’ll handle it this go ‘round?

Manager survey
My manager moved to another team so what's the point?? Lol I'm sure it's not anonymous so does it even matter?
Chapter Model Still Exists???
I thought the re-org was supposed to eliminate the chapter model. Why am I still reporting to a do-nothing, useless people manager?
Sticking around for severance
Everyone with actual leadership ability has already left FIDO. The people running things now are only looking out for themselves. They don't care about the company or us. I'd leave today if not for the severance. With my salary and age, I'm almost... — read more
September OSHA/fire safety occupancy
I’m curious about the logistics of how they plan to manage daily over occupancy, specifically around the cafeteria lines. We aren’t even at 100% yet and it seems really hard to move around safely and quickly in the cafe. This seems like an OSHA... — read more
Get a new job if you’re upset about RTO
Here’s the thing, Fidelity pays a lot lower than competitors. It’s just a fact of the matter. I worked at Fidelity a year ago in WM and as soon as they started the whole RTO thing I did everything in my power to not abide. Leaving early, looking for... — read more
Pros & Cons : is it time Fidelity Employees join a Union

Must be nice to just be able to "Just Quit" to all those posting "Just Quit"
For all the people posting "just quit," I'm assuming you either have wealthy parents, a wealthy spouse, a trust fund, or simply don't understand that most American households rely on two incomes to keep the lights on. The idea that people can "just... — read more

Why doesn't Fidelity Investments get in trouble for H1B Visa Abuse?
There must be serious violations of laws involving the H1B Visa abuse that takes place with Fidelity. They also practice segregation by keeping these H1B Visas away from all the non H1B Visa employees. It never felt good, it always felt illegal... — read more
Patent and White Paper Culture

Stop taking us for granted
I've been here for for over a decade. Our people have knowledge and experience that can't be replaced. But leadership doesn't care. They've gotten rid of good people for stupid reasons.
Fid Wealth, Depression

Is the reorg complete or more to come?
Anyone hearing of additional restructuring or workforce reductions in Fidelity Technology after the recent reorg? Curious whether teams are expecting further changes later this year or if the current reorganization is considered complete.
They’ll realize six months from now how awful a decision
It was to go RTO full time. You cannot go half a decade and blow it up like that. It’s a cauldron of bad mojo and stupidity sprinkled with greed. Bad corporate decision made my dei and fools.
6 month severance true or not?
That's the question. simple. yes no.
