What if people here had more choices?

Yeah I don’t know outside of the usual Saturday and Sunday rush it hasn’t felt as busy this spring as it did in previous years pre-covid. Changing so much of the store’s product line and limiting the amount of choices in the store isn’t as good of... — read more

Things getting better?

I noticed during the last few weeks things seem to be getting better. I don’t know if it’s just my store but we are getting a bit more foot traffic, coworkers seem to be more engaged and more accepting of the changes that were implemented. The... — read more

update

BBBY is so hypocritical for touting their so called inclusiveness policy, by only to have one token African American on the Board of directors and with none on the Executive team. Disgraceful and unacceptable!

So slow!

My store is extremely slow! I’m worried more layoffs will be coming soon. I don’t see BBB surviving this. I would guess full timers will be the next cuts!

Mask Policy

We keep having customers walking out due to our mask policy. Despite the portal note about offering a mask and curbside once and then just allowing the customer to shop these young girls will harass the customer until they just leave. Our district is... — read more

Everyone knows their future here

Why is everyone complaining? We knew the future of BBB when employees were getting laid off en masse and store closures were being done regularly, with more to be completed within 2 years. But here some of you are complaining how the company is doing... — read more

Retail problems or BBB problems

I worked in several companies before I came here and I think it is necessary to differentiate which problems concern primarily retail, and which specifically these companies. There’s nothing much worse here than it is in most other retail... — read more

Expanding your skillset?

Retail is changing rapidly and the pandemic has only accelerated the paradigm shift. BBB is not keeping up with the trends and the future of the company looks very doomed. However, I no longer care about the future of this company, but only about... — read more

Took a little over a year

From day one I had a bad feeling about BBB but I had already committed. It started with little to no training. It was my very first job and not taking that into account I was given no guidance whatsoever and was just constantly berated for whatever... — read more

Will we make it?

My store is extremely slow! We are A volume. Trucks have been light too. Wonder if we can survive. And wonder if they will be letting go more full timers.

Competing with young folks

Looking for a new job when you are almost 50 is very difficult. Competing with much younger people is a big challenge. No matter how many applications I submit, only the young people seem to get jobs. That's the only reason I'm still here. I don’t... — read more

My daughter wants me to get her in

Is the morale improving?

When I left this company a few months ago, morale was at the bottom. I couldn’t stand the atmosphere and managed to find another job at a company that might be a little better. I wonder if there have been any improvements in the meantime? Is the... — read more

Why does BBB allow this?

I try to figure out why this company allows the type of behavior displayed by my manager. That man yells, creates a hostile work environment, he is overly demanding and looks very frustrated. Also, it is not uncommon for him to make fun of some... — read more

Nobody wants to work here
